When she got to the room, Juanma had apparently just woken up. She sat on the edge of the bed for a moment. "How are you feeling" she asked while putting her hand on his forehead.

"A little better," he said, holding her hand tightly. "Without you I would not have made it today. I concentrated completely on you and somehow forgot everything. Thank you"

"You were good Juanma. We did it really well and I'm really proud of you that you did it even though it was bad for you."

Juanma closed his eyes again. "Would you like another pill?" Juanma nodded. Mia found another pill and put the pack down for him. Then she brought him water and sat down with him again.

"We actually wanted to see Ramiro, should we stay here?" "Should we discuss this with the others right away? I'll come down with you."

"Ok," Mia said.

They went to the others together. Roberto was also back from the hospital and happily told the others that Clara had walked a long way with him. "It'll all come back," he cheered.

Zoe took Juanma briefly in her arms. "What do we do today. Do we go to Ramiro or do we stay here?" Asked Alvaro. He looked at the others.

Zoe looked questioningly at Juanma. "Well actually .." he started when Roberto said "Please stay here, then maybe we can spend the evening together."

Alvaro looked at Zoe and Mia. They both nodded. "But Ramiro and Isabel must have dinner planned." said Mia then.

"Then we'll all go together," said Alvaro. "I'm sure nobody will mind if Roberto comes along. And then we won't stay that long and sleep here later."

Mia wrote to Ramiro and of course Ramiro agreed directly. Juanma felt better after the pill too, so they started to see Ramiro and Isabel.

Isabel had prepared a roast with pasta and salad. She was happy about the students. At dinner they talked about the performance and Ramiro emphasized how proud he was of the Go participants. "I told Alvaro, I have a surprise for you guys," he said.

"What is it papa?" Mia asked curiously.

"Do you all like horses?" Asked Ramiro. Isabel just grinned. One of Mia's childhood dreams was to ride a horse. While riding a pony at a fair, she'd been scared and never got on.

"I was a little scared when I was little," Mia said honestly. "But I would like to try again. They are beautiful animals"

"Riding is the coolest thing there is, when we were with my father, who had a friend who had horses I was riding often." said Roberto.

"I know that Alvaro has never sat on a horse, what about you Juanma and Zoe"

They both shook their heads. "I once petted a Shetty pony." said Zoe and Roberto laughed. "A Shetty Pony is no bigger than a big dog," he said.

"The background to my question is, I have an old school friend who has a horse ranch. I met him last time and he invited me. He has holiday bungalows at his ranch and would make them available to us. It would only be arrival and departure and some food for a long weekend. "

Alvaro, Mia and Zoe were all excited. Mia thought that she was no longer a small child and would therefore no longer be afraid. Juanma was very quiet and Mia noticed that he was also very pale again.

Isabel also looked at him while Ramiro said to Roberto "I think there is still room for Clara and you if you feel like it." Roberto nodded. "I'll talk to Clara if she can do that, thank you."

"Everything ok Juanma, you haven't said anything yet," Isabel said now.

"Yes, I'll be fine", he said. "I'm not quite fit today, sorry."

"Would you like to lie down on the couch for a bit," Isabel asked.

"No, thanks," he smiled at Isabel.

"I think it's great with the ranch," said Alvaro. The others nodded. "What about Lupe," Alvaro asked, "I don't want to have arguments again if she isn't there."

"I'll ask her," said Ramiro, "but I think she doesn't feel like doing that too much." -

Alvaro nodded. " OK"

"Then I plan that for the weekend after the competition, there we also have a public holiday and a vacation day, so we have a little more time."

The students nodded. "That's great dad," said Mia. "I'm looking forward to it."

"I've seen photos of Alberto's ranch, it looks good. His daughter Ruby works with horses. I think we're going to have a lot of fun. I'll see if the weekend is free tomorrow."

Isabel said "It will be great, I rode in Spain as a child. They say you never forget how to ride." She laughed.

Mia looked back at Juanma and nudged Zoe. She looked at Juanma and said "We should go to school, it's getting late". Mia nodded.

They left and drove to school. Roberto came into the room with them shortly. But he didn't stay long either, everyone was tired from the day.
