"Yes, because you were gone with Lupe" said Mia.
"I talked to her. She was looking for Alvaro and I just wanted to know how she is doing."
Mia sat down with the boys. Alvaro's cell phone rang and it was Lupe.After the conversation he said, "I'll meet with Lupe for a moment." Juanma and Mia nodded.
"Tell me what's the matter with you, Juanma. Why are you worrying so much about Zoe, she doesn't give you any reason to be jealous."
Juanma took a deep breath. "So much has happened in the last few weeks. And Gaspar ... do you see his looks when he goes to her."
Mia took his hand. "Hey, we have to be strong for Alvaro now. And maybe for Lupe too. Zoe won't do anything with Gaspar ..."
"How do you know that"
"I just know it. Please trust me. Juanma, don't let yourself be dragged down. Should something seem strange to me about Zoe, will I talk to her and you, too, okay?"
He nodded. "Come on, let's look for the others," she said and wanted to pull him up.

Juanma nodded. "Please don't say anything to Alvaro and Zoe"
When they stepped outside the gym, Alvaro and Lupe were not far from them. Lupe called for Mia and beckoned the two of them over. "I wanted to thank you both for being so kind to me during the performance and for getting Roberto straight to drive." Juanma and Mia looked at each other briefly and Mia said "No cause. That goes without saying."
Lupe looked at Alvaro and Alvaro winked at her. "Are you ok so far?" He asked her.
Lupe nodded." Then I'll go with Mia and Juanma, okay? "

"Ok Agus is waiting for me." Replied Lupe and disappeared in the direction of GO."What a day," said Alvaro, exhausted."Come on, let's go upstairs, Zoe will definitely be there too." Mia said.
"Ok, see you tomorrow, good night," said Juanma.Mia looked at him "Juanma" she said warningly but with a slight laugh. "Come on"All three walked quietly to Zoe and Mia's room. As expected, Zoe was upstairs. Alvaro collapsed on Mia's bed. "You still have to eat something," Mia said, "And you too, Juanma," she said to Juanma, who was standing at the door, somewhat undecided.She handed both boys a plate and caught a glimpse between Juanma and Zoe.She sat down next to Alvaro and said: "Is it okay between you two now?"Zoe held out her hand to Juanma and he sat down next to her. "I have .." both started a sentence and all four had to laugh. Zoe now told what she had discussed with Gaspar and that she still had only friendly feelings for him. And Juanma said that he spoke very briefly to Lupe about Javier."Well, it was so easy," said Alvaro. He had already snuggled into Mia's bed. "You really don't want to eat anymore?" Mia asked him.Alvaro shook his head. Mia lay down next to him and Juanma turned on a movie. The room was slowly quiet. Alvaro fell asleep very quickly. Mia got up again quietly to get ready for bed and noticed that the other two had also fallen asleep just as they were.

Alvaro slept very restlessly, Mia tried again and again to calm him down by stroking him lightly and was successful almost every time.
The operation was scheduled for ten o'clock the next day. It would take time because they had to connect Javier to a heart-lung machine for this. All four were tired the next day. The planning for the camping trip was on the agenda right from the start. Ramiro had evaluated all the answers the evening before and placed an order for the missing items. Mercedes had let the plan go, but said that depending on the course of the operation, Lupe and Alvaro might not be able to come.

They hadn't heard from the hospital until lunch. Mia noticed that Alvaro was getting more and more nervous and Lupe wasn't involved in class either. When they met in the cafeteria after class, Alvaro was quite pale. "Did you hear something" Mia asked him.
"No, mom is calling now." said Alvaro.
"Come on, let's get some air," said Mia. Alvaro gladly accepted the offer. Mia sat down with him on a bench in the yard.
"Tell me what you think" she said.
Alvaro took a deep breath. "There are so many thoughts. My relationship with Javier has never been particularly good since the separation from him and mom. Ramiro has always been more of a father to me. But that has changed lately at least in such a way that I feel good with him. And Lupe? She's only just getting to know him, she told me she doesn't know what to feel. It's all so confused. But anyway, I don't want him to die. "
Alvaro had tears in his eyes. He took Mia in his arms. Mia held him tight. Alvaro was so strong and always there for her. But now, that was a situation he could break. She just stroked his back very calmly. He was completely tense and swallowed. Little by little, he slowly relaxed. The proximity to Mia was infinitely good for him. Slowly he released himself from her embrace to look at her. As he was about to say something, a message came from Mercedes that he should come to her. He showed Mia the message and Mia took him again briefly in her arms and let him go.
