By Friday morning everyone had packed everything. The lessons were all about organizational matters. The room requests were submitted and the students were looking forward to the holidays.
Most would come back after the holidays. Clara said goodbye to Mia and Zoe effusively. "I'm looking forward to coming back next school year." she said proudly. Mia squeezed her. Clara had settled in well and Mia no longer knew how she could have been so negative at the beginning.
Florencia and Zoe's parents came almost at the same time. Florencia hugged all four and said, "I can't wait for you to be back."
Juanma said, laughing, "Mom, let's be gone first"
"Yes, you're right." said Florencia.
Zoe's parents also greeted the four and Zoe's mother said: "After your vacation you all come to us, ok? Then we have time to get to know each other better."
Alvaro had previously said goodbye to Mercedes. He could see that saying goodbye for his mother was not easy and promised her to spend a few days at home after the vacation. He knew it would be days without Mia, but he figured Mia wasn't welcome.
Now he was still looking for Lupe. He found her with Martin and Agos, where she stood a little lost next to them. She had turned her back to him and he took her from behind in his arms.
"Hey little sister. I wish you a nice start to your holiday and a nice vacation"
"Thank you" said Lupe softly but returned the hug.
"Will you see Gaspar" asked Alvaro.
"He hasn't been to Buenos Aires for the week now, now I'll be away with mom for a week and then we'll see," said Lupe, a little depressed. "But we wrote a lot," she said.
"That's nice and when I'm back we'll spend a few days with mom, okay?" Lupe nodded. He squeezed her. It was difficult for Lupe; her friends spent the holidays with their boyfriend or with their family. So she was alone with Mercedes. Alvaro said goodbye to Martin and Agos and then had to go back to the others. The three were already waiting by the car.

"Will Lupe see Gaspar" Mia asked softly when they were in the car.

"She didn't know that yet," said Alvaro. The year before, Ramiro and Mercedes had gone for vacation with them. He tried to wipe the thoughts away.

Isabel greeted the four happily. She, too, had already packed everything and Alvaro and Ramiro wanted to leave the suitcases in the evening  at the airport so that they would have more time in the morning.

When Ramiro and Alvaro were on the road, Mia said to Juanma and Zoe "Alvaro is sad about Lupe. She goes in vacation with Mercedes ..." "Oh, even for her we should  feel sorry " said Zoe dryly. Juanma poked her lightly side and winked at her.

"I thought about writing to Gaspar to find out what's there beween the two and maybe he can visit Lupe during the holidays."

Isabel joined the three of them with a cup of coffee. She looked around questioningly and said "I heard "Gaspar" what's about him"

The three of them took turns talking about Lupe and Gaspar. "Well, I hardly know Lupe personally. I can't tell you whether she could be a good match for Gaspar. What are you going to do?"

Mia told her that she had considered writing to Gaspar and giving him the idea of ​​visiting Lupe either on vacation or at home later.

"I don't think we should interfere" said Zoe.

"But maybe Lupe will do it well," said Juanma.

Isabel said: "Gaspar is old enough. You can make him the suggestion and he will see if he realizes it. I wouldn't interfere too much either."

"I'll call him then," Mia said and went out onto the terrace. Gaspar answered immediately. "Hey Mia, I thought you were already lying on the beach."

"No, we only start tomorrow, but I wanted to ask you something."

"Go ahead," said Gaspar. Mia gave a brief account of the problems Alvaro feared in his family and of Lupe. She mentioned the vacation with Mercedes and then said "I thought maybe you can visit her. You got on well."
Gaspar was silent for a moment. Then he said "yes, I was planning to get in touch with her now that I would be back, but do you think surprising her while she is on vacation with her mother is a good idea?"
Mia thought about it. "Well, she's alone with Mercedes, of course I don't know how Mercedes sees it."
" Maybe you're right."
Neither said anything for a moment. "Mia, I'll make you a suggestion," he said then. "I'll write to her later and in the course of the week I'll make arrangements with her that we see each other after the vacation. Then I won't surprise her and she may be looking forward to it."
"Ok thanks Gaspar. I think that's the best solution."When she got back to the others, Juanma and Zoe were just about to rave about the house to Isabel and tell about the last vacation. She sat down and later told the three of what she had agreed with Gaspar. But they agreed all not to tell Alvaro about the agreement.
