Isabel and Ramiro went for a walk in the evening. They looked at the property and walked across the meadows. Some horses would be outside overnight. "You are thoughtful," Isabel said to Ramiro. Ramiro sighed. "I had a conversation with Mercedes yesterday, which I'm thinking about." Before Isabel could ask, Ramiro told her what Mercedes had said.

"Do you think she really does it?" asked Isabel.

"I have the impression that she wanted to see my reaction and I don't have the impression that any of the children already know that."

"It would be tough for Mia and Alvaro and I don't think it's good that she want to separate Lupe from Gaspar."

"No, neither do I. At first I reacted loosely to it, and when we get back I'll talk to her and Javier." Isabel nodded. "Let's try to enjoy the weekend. I'm sure the peace and quiet here will do you good. I'm starting to worry about you. "

Ramiro took Isabel in his arms. "Don't worry, I'm ok."

Alvaro and Mia sat with Roberto and Clara and Juanma and Zoe in front of the bungalows. Apart from the chirping of the crickets you couldn't hear anything. It was a starry night and they enjoyed the quiet.

Mia had snuggled up against Alvaro. They had arranged to meet Ruby that morning. She had said there were enough helmets available so that they could try riding.

Roberto and Clara quickly retired to their bungalow. Clara was pretty tired.

The other four also went in and got ready for bed. Everyone was curious how the next few days would be.

When Mia was in bed with Alvaro, she said, "Having a house here must be great. Think about how much nature the children would grow up with."

"But it takes a while to go shopping, and then when you've forgotten something....," Juanma pointed out.

"What do we have you guys for?" said Zoe with a laugh. "After the hay harvest you can still get everything you forgot."

"Only if we can then have a beer in the only pub in the village," said Juanma and the others laughed.

They all fell asleep very quickly. Mia woke up during the night and looked out the window for a moment. It was really dark, it was never that dark in Buenos Aires. She snuggled up against Alvaro again and quickly fell asleep again. Ruby had prepared breakfast for everyone the next day, and Alberto was already out in the fields, taking Ramiro and Isabel to show them everything.

When everyone had eaten, they went to the horses. Ruby showed them everything again and introduced them to Travis. He looked nice and personable. As Mia led Pegasus out of the box, he looked at Ruby and said "Are you sure she should take Pegasus"

Ruby saw Travis wink at her and said, "Mmm now  where you say it"

Mia had stopped. "Why, what ?should I bring him back inside?"

"He's a bit wild sometimes," said Travis.

"Mia is a beginner, so please give her a calm horse," Alvaro intervened. Ruby and Travis grinned "Don't worry, Pegasus is very dear, he's also the oldest here. I just wanted to annoy you a bit. Mia, Alvaro are you coming, I'll help you saddle up."

When all the horses were finished, Ruby showed the students how to mount and hold the reins. Little by little they learned the gaits. Travis stayed nearby to help.

They all laughed a lot, Zoe first wore a riding cap that was too big for her and always fell over her eyes.

"Who of you would like to do yesterday's exercise?" Juanma answered. He had a light brown horse named Goldie. Ruby helped him put on the lunge and told him what to do. After two changes of direction in a circle, Travis said," Now let him go and turn around. "

It worked like Ruby the day before, Goldie walked slowly up to Juanma and nudged his arm.

" Wait a minute, "said Ruby. She took a whip and gently touched Goldie's chest and let her whip like a caress Sliding down " down" she said and Goldie lay down. "Now you can sit on it and he will stand up with you" said Ruby. Juanma tried it a little uncertainly and it actually worked.

"Hey, I have to check fences, do you want to come with me?" Travis asked and the boys nodded. Mia was about to say yes when Ruby said "I'll show you our kittens in the barn".

"Well, it was clear that you were starting an unfair counter-program," said Travis, laughing. kissed Ruby and took the boys to his pickup truck.

The girls were absolutely thrilled with the baby cats and didn't want to leave the barn at all. In the meantime Alberto had returned with Isabel and Ramiro.

"What are we going to do for lunch?" Alberto asked his daughter.

"I'll have a look," she said. "Come on, we'll help you," said Zoe and everyone went to the kitchen together and saw what could be prepared quickly.

"Is Travis gone with the boys?" asked Alberto. When Ruby nodded, Albarto said, laughing, "The special tour?"

Ruby shrugged. "What's the special tour" asked Isabel, a little alarmed.

"If you look at the fences, you will pass an almost dry lake. Travis loves to do driving exercises in the mud. Maybe he will let the boys drive too."
