Ruby and Travis ran down the meadow  behind the trees and bushes. They were quickly out of sight of the others. Alvaro and Juanma got out again and stand together with the others. When they got back into the car, Mia gave Alvaro a kiss and said "Come back safely" "That goes for you  too," Zoe said to Juanma and hugged him. After a while, Alvaro started the car.

He slowly drove the pickup onto the street Travis pointed out. When they got to the place where the car from the men  was parked before, he  stopped and the boys got out. A man was actually still there, sitting on a fallen tree. He got up and approached both of them. " Can I help you?"

"We got lost, we're here for a visit and should meet friends at an old fisherman's hut that is supposed to be here somewhere. Perhaps you know it." The man looked them both up and down. Then he looked at the pickup.

"I think I know which one you mean," he said, not taking his eyes off the surroundings.

"We have a map in the car, maybe you can come along and show us," said Juanma. Alvaro glanced at Juanma, he hadn't seen a map. "Our cell phone sat nav doesn't work up here," added Juanma.

The man laughed briefly and said: "I  think so, here the phones don't work." He looked around a few times, looked at the enclosure and turned back to Juanma and Alvaro.

"Which  horses have you there?" Asked Alvaro when he man actually went to the car with them. "We're bringing some of our horses up here because the grass is fresher. We'll bring them back afterwards," said the man. Alvaro nodded. Jaunma had opened the door and pulled out a stack of maps from the side compartment on the passenger side. He put it on the hood so that the man was standing with his back to the enclosure.

He and Alvaro leaned over the card. "We are now ... moment ..."

"Here," said the man. Alvaro saw movement in the enclosure out of the corner of his eye.

"And the hut, where is it now," he asked quickly. Juanma pointed to the card and said "We were told it should ..." he ran his finger over the card "be here" he  finished his sentence.

Neither Juanma nor Alvaro dared to turn around to face the enclosure. They heard the horses, but that didn't seem to bother the man.

"Can you show us on the street how we should drive," Alvaro tried to lure him further away. "

It's your  first time here, right?" said the man with a grin.

"Yes, and we have made an appointment with friends up there and they are sure to be waiting."

"Ok, I'll go forward, put the car out, "he said. Alvaro got in the pick up  and turned the car while Juanma went to the street with the man.

"If you see the hill up ahead, that's this one on the map." He pointed to the map. "You have to go around it and then you come to a small river. Next to it there is a path that you follow until you come to the hut. "

When Alvaro stopped next to the two of them, he handed the map  back to Juanma and Juanma got into the car.

" Have a good trip, boys, "the man said." The paths are treacherous, drive slow and careful" Alvaro was just about to say" thank you "when they heard the horses start moving.

" What the hell ... "the man shouted and ran towards the enclosure, saw the horses running, turned back to the car , but Alvaro had already accelerated. The pickup started with spinning tires and was quickly out of sight of the cursing man.

Alvaro stopped at the next corner. Both took a deep breath.

"That was timing," said Alvaro. He looked at Juanma "Everything ok?"

Juanma grinned "Everything is fine. We didn't really talk to a horse thief, did we? "

" Actually he looked very nice. "Alvaro didn't take his eyes off the rear-view mirror. He started the car again and drove back to the others the way which there  drove with Travis at the beginning  to see if there is a van. When they got to the others Mia and Zoe ran towards the car. Both boys got out. Mia and Zoe fell on both of their necks. They both returned the hug.

"But we should get out of here now, as soon as Travis and Ruby are back, because I am Sure, when the other men come back, they'll see if we're still around. "said Alvaro. Juanma nodded. After a while, Travis and Ruby came running up the mountain again, out of breath. Travis clapped the boys and said "It was a great collaboration. For a moment I thought he was coming back too early, but that you took him to the street with you was awesome " he said to Juanma

"Do you do that more often" asked Zoe.

"No, not often. Once we freed horses at night. But they had been stolen from a pasture." said Ruby

"And there was your father and your uncle with us" said Travis. Ruby nodded. "We often have cattle thieves here. But it is difficult to catch the wild horses." said Ruby.

"Ok, let's get out of here then," Travis said then. He got in the pickup and Avlaro and he started the cars. Travis continued up the mountain.

"Where are we going,  don't we  have to go down" asked Roberto.

"You wanted to see the horses," said Travis with a grin.
