"Went everything well yesterday?" Zoe asked Roberto and Clara.

Clara nodded and Roberto said" yes, everything was ok. Thank you for staying with us, I'll change my cell phone number now. I have always ignored the calls and messages, but this way  they no longer have any contact options. "

"But you don't have any debts to them, do you?" asked Juanma, remembering the argument about the pills.

"No, they are jealous because I made it. We all dreamed of such a life back then, even if we would never have admitted it. Alcohol and drugs help in a small moment, at least you have the feeling, instead of problems solve, new ones emerge. I'm glad that, thanks to you, I made the jump. "

Javier looked from one to the other. "Did I miss something" he asked. Alvaro got up and said "Lupe is calling, I'll take it outside". Everyone nodded, Mia and Roberto told, with the support of Zoe and Juanma, what Roberto had experienced. Javier's eyes got bigger and bigger. "And you did the withdrawal alone. All together?" Everyone nodded. "Respect - you are a great group. It's really great that you stick together like this."

The food was brought to the table. It all looked very tasty and only now did Juanma and Zoe realize that they were really still hungry. Alvaro came back in. "Gaspar is through with his appearance too. They wanted to know if we were still in the disco, I said Javier is with us, they are still coming here." Zoe did not try to show that she was not very haüüy about  of Lupe's presence.

Javier was happy. "Then I'll see you both today," he said.

The two of them got on very quickly. Lupe greeted Javier warmly and introduced him to Gaspar. They sat down next to the others and Gaspar asked Mia "Was everything ok with your performance?"

"Yes, everything was great, it was a lot of fun."

"At Gaspar's gig the fuse in the disco blew, we had no electricity for half an hour," said Lupe.

"Oh," said Clara, "that's not nice."

"Oh it was no problem, until they got it back, I sang ballads and everyone turned on lighters." Javier laughed. "There is someone who has ideas," he said and smiled at Lupe.

"Mama is mad at you, by the way," said Lupe to Javier.

"That's something completely new. You'd better tell me if she isn't, that there are fewer days," Javier laughed.

Gaspar and Lupe had also ordered something to eat, which was now brought to the table. When they had finished, Alvaro said, "I think they're slowly closing here too, we should leave." Javier said, "Yes, it's getting late, I'll do the bill."

Javier paid for everyone and the kids thanked him. Clara took Mia and Zoe in her arms, at Lupe she paused for a moment. Lupe took the initiative and hugged Clara and then Mia and Zoe. Juanma nudged Zoe because she hadn't really returned the hug.

Lupe had told her mother that she would not come home. She hadn't told Gaspar that she had lied to her mother where she sleeps.

This time Gaspar did not need to be asked to lay down next to Lupe, they had gotten so used to sleeping together  in  the few days of vacation that it was unfamiliar for both of them to spend the night separately. "Your show was great today," said Lupe to him.

"It was great that people handled it so well during the power outage. Sometimes improvisation is everything." said Gaspar. He carefully put an arm around Lupe and looked at her. " You know what?" She shook her head, "I'm starting to really enjoy the time with you." Lupe smiled at him and nodded. "That's how I feel too"

Gaspar sought her gaze and brought his face closer to hers. Lupe stepped back a little and said "Gaspar, don't be angry with me, I really like you. But I'm not ready to go a step further at the moment. I enjoy your closeness and warmth. But please give me a little more time" . Gaspar nodded. "It's ok, sorry. I wanted ..."

"No, everything ok Gaspar, honestly. But I'm so confused at the moment. Mom is mad again and I just don't know what else to do". Gaspar took her in his arms. "I'll give you the time you need." he said.

He was a little disappointed, he could understand Lupe, but he was also afraid that she would only hold him until she had someone else. He had heard a lot about Lupe. She had always been nice and kind to him so far in the last weeks, but he was still afraid of developing feelings and then being disappointed. She moved closer to him and took his hand. He thought to himself  to think about it less. He would just try to be there for her and then they would see how the situation worked out.

Lupe was already asleep. She slept restlessly and he tried to caress her gently. She calmed down in his arm. She looks very fragile when she drops the wall she used to build around her. He also lay down again and fell asleep.
