Alvaro and Toni  swam towards the exit. When they emerged, they saw that Mia was on the boat. A stone fell from Alvaro's heart.

They swam towards the boat and Alvaro climbed in and fell around Mia's neck. "Are you ok, did something happen to you, Mia, I am so glad that you are back." His words rushed and Mia took him in her arms. "I'm ok, it's all good. Nothing happened to me."

Juanma had made place next to Mia and took Alvaro 's diving equipment. Alvaro was clutching Mia and stroking her back. Juanma could see that there were tears in his eyes. He could imagine the relief. He didn't want to think about what he would have done if it had hit Zoe. And when it came to Mia, he had at least been able to actively do something, which distracted him, while Alvaro had to wait first. He put a hand briefly on Alvaro's shoulder and Toni shouted "Do anybody want to come with me,  we have to redeem Dani." Juanma nodded and picked up his gear. Both dived and the others only saw the air bubbles.

Alvaro briefly pushed Mia away. "What happened to you?" Mia told him everything and while she was talking Sergio said "I'm so sorry I didn't notice it right away."

Alvaro looked at him. "Everything went well. Mia was right at the back with you, so none of us noticed."

They saw the others come out of the cave. Rico took turns with the breathing apparatus with Juanma. His oxygen was empty.

When everyone was in the boats, Toni looked at Dani's display. "Could have been close," he said and patted Dani on the back.

Dani turned to the group.

"You all noticed what happened. Fortunately, everything turned out well. But you saw how important it is to take care of your diving partner", his gaze fell on Sergio, who looked down. Dani put his hand on Sergios Shoulder. "Something can always happen. What I liked was that you all stayed relatively calm. You held together and as I am experiencing it right now, you didn't blame each other. "He looked at Alvaro and his gaze went to Mia." It was a risk to dive into the cave with you. I entered it because you did it very well all of the days. Mia, what happened   with you? "He then asked specifically.

Mia reported what she had experienced. At that moment Dani admired her calm. When Mia's report ended, Dani said: "That a lamp will break is unpredictable, nor that a bottle will empty too quickly" he looked at Alvaro. "But you all reacted great together. Alvaro, if I had sent you with Mia, you could have looked for her on your own and panicked. Then we would have had to look for two people." Alvaro nodded.

"We're going back now," said Toni. "I think it was enough adventure and the bottles are too empty. If you want, we can try a dive again tomorrow." Everyone nodded. Dani sat down again next to Mia. "Mia it would be important to me that you are there again tomorrow and that this experience is not the last diving experience." Mia nodded and smiled at Dani. She looked at Alvaro and Juanma and Alvaro also nodded and said "we're in".

The four sat down on the beach in front of the diving school. Mia put her head on Alvaro's lap. "Are you really ok" asked Juanma quietly. Mia nodded, "Just a little tired, but everything else is okay." After a pause, she said, "We shouldn't tell Ramiro and Isabel this."

Juanma looked at Alvaro. Zoe sat next to Juanma. "I would like some ice cream now," she said. "Me too," Mia said and was suddenly wide awake again. Zoe held out her hand and they both ran to get ice cream for everyone.

Alvaro looked after Mia and Zoe. "How does she do it?" Juanma looked at him questioningly. "I mean that she can put it away like that."

Juanma said "It went well. She wasn't hurt and she had confidence that she would be found. And" he paused, "I think she doesn't want you to worry about her".

Alvaro nodded. "I was really scared for her."

"That was clear to me, and so was I. You would have dived almost without oxygen."

"Thank you Juanma." Alvaro took a deep breath, "For finding her. And for trying to calm me down."

Juanma put his hand on Alvaro's shoulder "You would have done that for me too, captain. That's what friends are for."

"I  hope not only for things like that," said Alvaro, grinning at Juanma.

"Also for everything beautiful," replied Juanma. "But speaking of thanks. I also thank you for your friendship and your trust. I would never have dreamed that we would sit here together like this one day. But I am really glad that we are friends. And it works not just about Mia. "

Alvaro nodded. "It's good to know to have someone you can rely on. And that someone you and Zoe have in me too."
