ꜱᴛᴜᴄᴋ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴍᴇ- ᴋɪʟʟᴜᴀ x ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ [OLD]

01- 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘹 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘹 𝘺𝘰𝘶?

It was midday, and unless you considered hiding from people you didn't want to talk to by hiding out in the woods, I wasn't doing much. I stayed on my strange little tree branch, hiding away from the world. It was dead quiet, which was just how I liked it. I climbed back down, kind of missing the feeling of the ground beneath my feet. With a small "Hup!" I jumped off the tree and onto the ground.

I looked around for something else to do. Just sitting in trees all day gets kind of boring. I turned around, getting ready to head back when I saw something in a bush. I carefully crept over to the bush. If it were some sort of animal, I didn't want to scare it off. When I had finally gotten to the bush, I saw a boy with fluffy white hair who looked around my age.

"Hi." I smiled nervously, praying this was not some weirdo who pretended to be an animal. "Hey." We looked at each other for a while. It was an extremely awkward situation to be in. "So what's your name?" The boy asked. "Y/n. What's yours?" He grinned. "I'm Killua!" he also got out of the bush.

We walked with each other for a bit. "So Killua, where you headed?" I asked him. "I'm gonna take the hunter exam. I heard it's super hard and I wanted to give it a shot!" I kind of chuckled. "It's not until another week. Looks like you planned ahead."

"Kinda had to." He laughed, probably remembering some inside joke he had with a friend of his. "What do you mean?" We slowed a bit since the two of us probably remembered we still had plenty of time. That's why I slowed down any way.

"My family's made up of assassins. They never want us to leave home unless it's for a job. So, I stabbed my Mom and one of my brothers and I dipped." He shrugged as though it was nothing. I thought about it for a bit.

"Wait. You're Killua Zoldyck?" He nodded. I just hummed. He laughed a little bit. "What's so funny?" I asked grumpily.

"I'm kind of surprised you actually believe me! I mean, anyone can easily lie about that kind of thing." I shrugged. "I don't know. You seem dependable. Trustworthy I guess."
