Puny God

After you all dispersed you hear Tony on comms. "Y/n go in and try to talk to him." Of course you're on it in a matter if seconds. Thor has left the building and Loki comes back. Clearly Stark Tower was where he wanted his battles to take place. No doubt to spite Tony.

You walk in, approaching him from behind. He's standing in front of a window looking along the chaos below. "Loki, I know I'm not your soulmate. So why are you really doing this?" Maybe not the best way to start the conversation. But it just slipped. You needed answers.

"That's just it. Because you're not. I'm a God. I deserve to be with someone like you." Your heart sinks. You feel bad but you remind yourself of the people he's hurt and killed just today. Hundreds. He deserved no pity.

"Loki good people get good things. And look at what you're doing to New York. People are getting hurt. People are dying and you're doing this because I'm not your soulmate? It's selfish and cruel. You deserve nothing."

He shakes his head and walks closer. "You're just like them. They've brainwashed you. If you hadn't met them, you would've wanted to be with me." You walk backwards away from him as he keeps coming closer. And closer.

"They didn't brainwash me. I know the difference between right and wrong and so do you. So stop this. Please." He leaps forwards and grabs you by the throat. Your air is instantly cut off and you try to call for help but nothing works.

"You have no control over me y/n. I won't stop until New York is destroyed. And all of the Avengers, including you, are dead." You manage to gasp out one sentence. "Loki-Loki let me go." Useless. He throws you to the ground and in a matter of seconds Tony swoops in and takes you back to the compound.

As Loki tries to fly away on one of his drones, Clint launches an arrow at him. Loki catches it, but that was the plan. The arrow blows up and sends Loki flying through the window of the compound and the Hulk follows suit.

Slamming into the window with Loki and as he's about to make a move Loki yells. "Stop!" He received a shocked look from the angry green beast. "I am a God you dull creature, and I will not be bullied by-"

He's cut of by Hulk grabbing him by the foot and yanking him up. Slamming him against the floor from left to right countless times until he leaves is limp body lying there. As he walks away from Loki, who is laying on the ground unable to move and traumatized, he scoffs and says-

"Puny God."
