"Wait! Both of you stop. Bucky, go sit with the twins and Peter while I talk to Steve, okay?" Bucky just looks at you and tightens his jaw even more. Then his eyes burn holes into Steve's skull as he looks back at him. "Please babe?" You say in an almost desperate tone.

For Bucky to be telling Steve to leave, something obviously had to be seriously wrong. He went in the living room and sat with the twins and Peter while you took Steve back into the bedroom and shut the door behind the two of you.

"Y/n..." Steve starts. "Steve, just tell me what's going on. Whatever it is, we'll all figure it out together. We can calm Bucky down and all talk about it. Just don't try to beat around the bush, tell me what's wrong."

Earlier that morning...

"Hey Nat." Steve says as he picks up his phone. "Hey, you called me earlier, what's up?" Nat replies. Steve had called early that morning right before everyone else had woken up.

Natasha was still asleep so she hadn't answered the phone. Steve's mind was racing. He was always thinking. He couldn't stop thinking about the team or thinking about how they got Natasha back.

Because no one was told how they got Natasha back. The team knew, but the wouldn't tell Bucky y/n or Steve. Not really to hide it from them but to keep them out of the mission/superhero life as much as they could.

After what happened with the blip, the last thing they wanted to do was pull them into that life again, especially with the family that they had now. There was no reason to put that in danger.

"Yea, I know you didn't want to involve us in this, but I just really can't stop wondering about it. How did they get you back?" Steve asks. "Steve it's been months since I got back." Natasha says.

"I know. I'm just curious. I'm glad you're back, everyone is, but we thought you were gone, you sacrificed yourself for the soul stone before the blip, so how was it like reversed?" Steve asks.

You had thought this too. How they could've gotten her back. The snap wouldn't have reversed Natasha's death because it wasn't part of the blip. But you had dropped the thought after a while because all that mattered was that she was back, not how.

"Clint went to return the stones, when he returned the soul stone, since he was returning it, they gave him the soul back that they took when he took the stone, a soul for a soul. The stone, for me." She explains to Steve.
