"Wait, both of us have to go?" Steve asks Tony. All attention is now turned to Tony. "We can't do that. We can't both leave her here." Bucky says.
"You're going to have to. The mission shouldn't take more than a few days so you'll be back long before the baby is due. But I need you both."
"Why not just use one of us? Either way they'll react to just one of us. Use me." Steve says. "We can't send one in without back up and they said if they see anyone other than the two of you people die."
"I can go without back up Tony. I have before. We just can't leave her here by herself. One of us needs to stay. She needs one of us to stay." Steve says.
"Is there any way you could send me in undercover as a passenger and just send one of them in?" Nat asks. "No. I can't. I'm sorry guys but the decision is made. This is how it has to be. We leave in an hour."
Tony leaves the room and everyone else stays behind to check on you and make sure you're okay. "They can't leave you all by yourself, someone has to stay back for comms, I'll stay with you." Peter says.
"Peter this is your chance to go on a mission. You love doing missions with the team. You can go. I hate it, but I'll be fine. As long as they both come back."
"We will. I promise you we will come back doll. Both of us. I hate this too. I don't want to leave you here, neither of us do, but if we are we do need someone to stay with you so you're not alone."
The person you least expect to speak up, does. "I'll stay with her." Sam says. "You will?" Steve asks. It's a surprise to everyone. Sam had been very unpredictable since the proposal.
"Yea. She needs someone to look after her and if it's a mission for the two of you I'm not necessary anyway. I'll look after her for you both."
"Thank you Sam." Bucky says. "We really appreciate it." Steve says. "We have to start getting ready now doll...you're in good hands okay? I love you. And we'll be back."
"Okay, I love you. Be careful. Look out for each other." You say. "We will baby. I love you." Steve says and kisses your cheek.
And just like that everyone's gone. Everyone except you and Sam. And the twins...
