After the Blip

A month after the blip

You had stayed in bed as much as you could. You got out of bed to eat, shower, use the bathroom. Basically only when you had to. Steve and the rest of the team that was left was constantly on the lab trying to figure out a way to get everyone back.

When he did come in the room, he just held you while you both cried yourselves to sleep. You were both barely functioning. The only thing keeping either of you alive was the other.

After the blip, the team found Thanos and he had destroyed the stones. He was useless. And he had killed half of the universe. So Thor killed him. Steve wanted to be the one to kill him, but Thor wouldn't let him. He knew the guilt of killing someone would break eve even more than he already was.

Tonight was just like every night. Steve came to bed late after overexerting himself trying to find a way to bring everyone back. "Hey baby." He whispers as he gets into bed with you. "Anything new?" You ask.

"We have an idea. Scott Lang is helping us now but...it's just an idea right now. I don't know what we're going to do if we can't do this. I promised you we would but that was before thanos destroyed the stones."

"Steven Grant Rogers, do not give up now. You can bring them back. I know you can. I believe in you. If you're going to continue to try, you have to believe in yourself. Or you won't be able to do it."

He kisses you softly and wraps his arms around you. "What would I do without you?" You shake your head and tears sting your eyes. "No, what would I do without you?" He kisses you again. A soft kiss.

And you both got lost in the moment. You forgot for a moment everything you had lost and you gave into one another. Before you knew it you were kissing and pulling each other's clothes off. And then he was inside of you and you were moving, breathing, thinking and feeling as one.

Two months after the blip

You and Steve were laying in bed together. He had been in the lab all day with everyone else. He was silent. Rubbing your back. He was too quiet. More than normal. Until he's not. "We found a way to bring them back." He whispers.

"What?" You think you heard him wrong. You look at him but he doesn't look at you. He continues to look at the ceiling. "we can bring Bucky back. And the twins." He looks at you and you're in tears. "It'll work?" He nods and brushes the tear off your face. "It has to."

Three months after the blip

"Yes. I'm sure! Stop yelling at me!" You yell. You had just taken a pregnancy test and it had come back positive, Steve wasn't very happy about it. Of course he wanted a child with you, but he already had two, and he was so close to bringing them back, they had just finished the test runs. They knew how to bring them back. But this complicated things.

"What am I supposed to do now huh!? I just found a way to bring them back that will work, we were going to do it NEXT WEEK! And now what? I bring them back while you're pregnant, what about the twins, will they be able to come back, will you lose this baby!?"

"Steve stop yelling! It's not my fault! This is something we did together! This is both of our faults not just mine! You don't think I want them back just as much as you!? What do you want me to do!? Get rid of it!?"

"No! Of course I don't! I just wish we weren't so wreck-less!" You knew he was in a dark place and so we're you. You knew he didn't mean to yell.

"Baby listen to me. We will figure it out. Okay?" He shakes his head, tears filling his eyes. "I'm so sorry sweetheart. I didn't mean to yell. I'm just scared. And I miss him. I miss them." You kiss his temple and hold him close. "I miss them too."

Four months after the Blip

"STEVE!?" You yell. He was with the team trying to figure out if he could still bring the twins back with you pregnant. He runs upstairs to where you are. You're in the bathroom on the floor crying, covered in blood. "What!? What happened?"

"I don't know. I don't know. There's blood everywhere. It hurts. Steve it hurts." He picks you up and takes you downstairs to Bruce's lab. "You're gonna be okay. Just breath. I've got you."
