Not Safe Here

"But I want you to go. I need you to go." You all look at Tony confused. He just said he didn't want you to leave now he was telling you all to go.

"You just told us you don't want to leave, now you're saying you want us to go?" You ask. You're not sounding mean, you're not angry, you just want to understand now. All your anger has faded.

"What do you mean by 'you need us to leave' Tony?" Steve asks. His anger has faded now too and he feels bad for all his anger he had towards Tony.

He should have known, especially after all this time on the team with him, that the reason behind his outburst was emotional and not personal.

But even if it was emotional, Tony still needed to work on his communication and his anger issues. He needed to express what he was really feeling instead of putting on a front and making him look like an asshole.

"You we're all right. Missions aren't safe for you, you have a family now. You have each other and you have the twins." Tony says.

He was really beating around the bush and not telling you all what he really meant. Which meant you knew you had to ask questions to get the answers.

"What are you saying Tony?" Bucky asks. He seemed less angry as well. He just wanted answers, as did you and Steve. Tony needed to spill.

"You're in danger on missions and it was your choice before to go out there and save lives and risk your own. But now you don't want to, and I understand why." He says. "Tony-" Steve starts.

"Let me finish explaining." Tony says. "You're taking an awfully long time to do so." You say. It sounded meaner than you meant but you meant it as a joke.

"You don't have to go on missions anymore. But you also can't stay here anymore." You all immediately open your mouths to protest, he just apologized for saying this and now he was saying it again.

"Tony-" you start but again are stopped. "It's not safe here. Everyone knows where we live, you can't live here with children, you need to move out."

"Tony we can't. We have no money, we have nowhere to go." Bucky says. "I want you all to live in the safe house y/n had been in before after her mission with the joker."
