"You stay until you tell me what's really going on." Nat says as she stops you from leaving the room. "I'm not gonna do that. I already told you. Now let me go."
You tried to stay calm. You didn't want to stress out more than you already were. You didn't want to give her any more reason the think you shouldn't leave.
"Okay. But if you go then I'm gonna get Steve and Bucky to come find you." You scoff at her threat and walk out the door. Now you had to hide out in the compound where no one would suspect you of hiding.
You walk into the teenage boys room and see him playing video games. You hit your knuckles softly against the door before fully entering.
His attention is grabbed and he looks up from his game. "Hey y/n. What's wrong?" Apparently it was written all over you that you weren't exactly okay.
"Oh nothing. I was just wondering if I could hide out here with you for tonight and tomorrow. I just don't want to talk to anyone right now."
"Okay. Do you wanna play some video games with me?" He holds a controller out to you. "Yea sure. And can we keep it between us that I'm here?"
"Yea. Nobody really comes in here anyway. So what game do you wanna play?" You sit on the bed with Peter and you start playing COD: Cold War.

"Wait, she came in to talk to you but she never actually told you anything?" Bucky clarifies after Natasha finishes explaining to them what had just happened with you. "Yea. I don't know where she went."
"Okay. Thank you for telling us. She couldn't have left, JARVIS would've notified Tony by now. She's here somewhere. We'll find her." Bucky says.
"Maybe she doesn't want to be found." Steve chimes in warning flares from both Bucky and Nat. "Are you serious? We can't just leave her alone."
"Yes we can. She obviously worried about something other than Loki, give her some space, we'll go find her later and see if she's ready to talk then."
"Steve I don't want her to think she's going through whatever it is alone. I fucked up calling her selfish. I know that. I need to fix it. I need to find her."
"And we will do that later. Give her a moment to breath. Give her time to be angry. And if she still wants us to go to the safe house and she tells us a
good enough reason why, then we will.""Steve I don't want her to hate me. She'll think we don't care. She'll think I don't care. I need to go talk to her." Steve grabs Bucky's hand before he can leave.
"No. She needs her time. You know that. And she knows we care. We're giving her the space she needs and she'll understand that and she'll be grateful for it. I promise. And when all this is done, I think it's time for us to carry out our plan."
