A few days later you're all finally settled into your new house. They still won't drop the whole baby name conversation. They're so excited for the babies and they want them to be named after each other.
"You aren't going to let it go are you?" You ask them both. They both smile cheekily and shake their heads. "No. No we're not." Bucky says.
"Fine. Then we're gonna sit down and discuss it and decide what the babies names are gonna be and not fight anymore over it." You say and they both nod eagerly.
They're just both excited to finally have the babies names decided. They were so cute. They already loved the babies so much and they were always talking to them or singing to them.
"Thank you baby. I know you don't want us to argue over it we just want to figure it out so we finally have something to call them. And I want a baby James." Steve says excitedly and kisses your cheek and then he kisses Bucky's.
Bucky isn't amused, he glares at Steve and looks at you. "I want a baby Steven." Bucky says. "We're not fighting over this. Or I will decide and neither of you will get what you want." You say sternly.
You didn't want them to argue over the babies names. You thought it was sweet that they wanted the babies to be named after each other but it was beginning to be too much. That's why you were talking about it now and not letting the arguing go on any further. You were getting it over with now.
"Okay. Sorry doll. Steve wants a baby Bucky and I want a baby Steve. There doesn't seem to be a way around that because one's a boy and one's a girl." Bucky says. And Steve nods. "Maybe we should just have the boys middle name the one we don't pick." Steve says.
"Like Steven James Rogers-Barnes." Bucky says. "Or James Steven Barnes-Rogers." Steve says. "First off, we need to decide the last name situation. How are we doing this when we get married and the babies hyphenation has to match." You say.
"Barnes Rogers." Steve says. "Rogers Barnes." Bucky says. "I don't know sweetheart, what do you want your last name to be." Steve asks.
Finally they gave up on their arguing and want your input. You were relieved. "Rogers Barnes. It sounds better that way." You say.
"So the baby should be named James Steven Rogers Barnes." Steve says. "We have two children and you're only worried about naming the boy." You point out. At this point you're getting frustrated again because just when you though the arguing was over it started again.
