You Don't Get It

"Hello?" Nat picks up the phone instantly. "Hey Nat, have you been in touch with y/n recently? Like today?" Tony stays calm, trying not to set off any alarms yet.

"Not since I dropped her off for the interview thing the other day, and then after she text me saying 'i'm in' and that was it. I text back saying 'lmk if you need anything' and she left me on read."

"Okay. That was three days ago. You haven't called her or anything since?" Nat sits up in the bed she had been laying on. Clearly somethings wrong. Tony may not be trying to set off alarms but she wasn't stupid. "What's going on? Where is she? Did you hear from her?"

"Steve and Bucky did. They said she's clearly in distress. The Joker is obviously going to do something she's not consenting to and we need to try and save her before it's too late."

Natasha jumps out of her bed and quickly puts her suit on as she's still talking. "Okay, I'll find a way to get in without compromising her or the mission. I'll keep in contact and let you know where and when you can come in."

"My thoughts exactly Romanoff. Whatever you do, get her out of there, I don't care if we have to start the mission over with an entire new team, get her out."

Natasha, Steve and Bucky had never heard Tony show any type of genuine care towards you, so this was out of the ordinary, but they weren't compelling. They were all more than grateful.

"I got her Tony." With that Nat hangs up, leaving the hotel and heading towards the last place she saw her best friend. Where she left her. Where things had went so horribly wrong.

As Nat was carrying out her plan, Steve Bucky and Tony had to wait, and it was killing them. They had been arguing for thirty minutes since they got off the phone with Nat.

"Tony, we have her location. We need to go get her!" Steve was trying to keep his cool before but he kept thinking about what could possibly be going on with his girl right now and he couldn't stand it.

"Rogers if you yell at me one more time I will rain hell fire on you. It will be civil war 2.0 and this time I will win. I get you're upset." Bucky slams his hand down on the table. "YOU DON"T GET IT!?"

"Barnes..." Bucky stands up. "No. Don't Barnes me. You don't get it. We are in love with her, she is everything to us and some guy is making her do shit she doesn't want to do and you want us to just sit on our asses. Fuck you Tony. You don't get it."

"Okay. Fine. Let's go get her. But we need a plan first."
