Awake

Your eyes flutter open and you look around the room. Nobody's there. You try to sit up when someone runs into the room. "Woah. Hey do not try to get up." It was Tony.

"Hey it's Tonyyy." You we're still groggy from the morphine and other drugs they had you on trying to wake you up. "Jarvis call Barnes and Rogers in here." The AI responds back and seconds later Steve runs in.

"Hey baby." He smiles walking over to your bed. He gives you a kiss and you smile. You look at Tony and point to Steve. "He's an excellent kisser." Tony can't help but laugh a little. "Oh god."

Bucky runs in a minute later. "Oh my god! Doll you're awake!" You smile when you see him. "Now all my boys are here. You're all so handsome and such good kissers."

"What's wrong with her?" Bucky whispers to Steve and Tony. "She's on drugs." Tony says simply. He wasn't wrong. They had you on a lot of medication trying to see which one would help to wake you up. "How're you feeling sweetheart?" You poke his nose and chuckle. "Great."

"How about you sleep this off doll? Tony could you just do her check up when she wakes up?" Tony nods and leaves the room. "How long was I sleepy for?" You hum. "We'll talk when you wake up, get some sleep babygirl. We love you."

You wake up a few hours later and Steve and Bucky are curled up in the bed with you holding you. "Steve." You whisper trying to wake him up. "Baby wake up please. Bub?"

"Hmm hey sweetheart. I'm sorry I'm just tired. It's been hard to sleep without you. I'll wake up Bucky." He goes to reach over you to wake Bucky up but you stop him. "No let him sleep. I just wanted to talk to you while he's asleep. I don't want to upset him."

"Why would he be upset?" Steve looks confused. He moves your hair out of your face. "Not mad. He'll be sad. And before I had the procedure he was upset because the room reminded him of hydra. I know I was asleep for more than a few hours."

Steve sits up now and faces you. "Steve, how long was I out?" He gives you a sad smile and you know it was a while. You knew they had gone through hell why you were asleep. "Almost a month."

Tears well in your eyes. "Why? Why was I out so long?" You can see tears forming in his eyes too. "We have no idea. Tony said it was probably the stress your body had been under and the procedure was too much. Your body shut down to heal itself."

"Are you okay? These past few weeks, I'm sorry. I couldn't imagine. If I knew that would happen I never would have gone through with it. What have you two been doing? I don't even know what to ask Bub i'm so sorry."

"Stop apologizing. It's okay. We only care that you're awake now. You're okay. We just waited for you to wake up. I worked out a lot, I think you'll appreciate that. Bucky sat with you the whole time. He was stubborn. I made him sleep and shower and eat."

"Thank you for taking care of him. And yourself. I don't know what I'd do without either of you." He gives you a sad smile. "Thank you for waking up." He kisses your forehead. "Get a room." Bucky chuckles.
