"So? You talked to Nat on the phone. That doesn't explain why Bucky was so mad." You say. You had listened intently to what he said but it still didn't make any since. You still didn't understand why Bucky was so mad. "I'm not done y/n..."

You were in the living room feeding the twins while Steve and Bucky were alone in the room together. You had convinced them to do laundry together while you were feeding the babies.

Peter was in the kitchen eating and on his phone. Not paying attention to anything. And you hadn't heard yelling yet. "Bucky, I need to talk to you."

"What's up?" Bucky says casually. Not knowing the conversation that's to be had and the fight leading in the next several minutes. The fight over something that none of you thought effected any of you anymore.

"I talked to Nat this morning. She told me how they got her back." Steve says. "How?" Bucky asks. "Clint traded the soul stone for her. They got her back." Steve says. "Hmm. It makes since." Bucky says.

Steve and Bucky stay silent for several more minutes folding clothes. Bucky knows that wasn't the end of the conversation, he was just waiting for Steve to continue. He just didn't know what the conversation had in store for them, for all of you.

"Bucky I want to try something..." Steve says. Bucky looks up at him. He shakes his head and waits for Steve to say something else but he doesn't, so Bucky does. "Try what?" Bucky asks.

"I want to find a way to get one of the stones." Steve says. "What? Why?" Bucky asks. "I want to go back and..." before Steve finishes Bucky cuts him off.

"You want to go back for her don't you? To see Peggy? What are you gonna do Steve? Leave us? For her? You're gonna leave you're family for a girl you kissed one time?" Bucky yells. "Bucky-" Steve starts.

"No! You wanna go back, for her. Leave your children, your wife, your husband...not even just your husband Steve, I'm your best friend! You're going to leave me for her? Y/n? Stevie? James?" Bucky asks.

He was obviously hurt. And with good reason. He thought that Steve wanted to leave you all for Peggy. But Bucky didn't give Steve a chance to explain. Which led you right back to where you had left off.
