Soulmates

Perfect

You had just gotten to the new house after a few hours. You and Bucky sat in the backseat of Steve's truck while he drove and you two fell asleep.

"Wake up sleepyheads. We're home." He says as the truck comes to a stop. Bucky lifts his head off of yours and you lift your head off his shoulder.

You both look around sleepily and Steve's words didn't really register yet. Until you really opened your eyes and you realized you were at the safe house.

"I forgot how gorgeous this house was." You say as Bucky helps you out of the truck. You hold your belly as you look towards the house and you look down at your stomach. "It's perfect." Bucky says.

"You hear that babies. We're home." You whisper to your stomach. You feel several kicks and you smile to yourself. You loved feeling them kick when they were excited, not so much when you were trying to sleep.

"Do you wanna go in and Bucky and I will bring in the boxes?" Steve asks. You had all already been making trips lately to bring things to the house.

You had everything there but the last bit of your clothes. Nat and Wanda had done the decorating and putting things away with you during one of the trips.

You only had about five boxes in the truck and being seven months pregnant now, you figured Steve and Bucky could handle the last few boxes, probably even in just one trip. They were super soldiers after all.

"Please. I think you two can handle it. Babies and I are gonna go make dinner and some hot tea. Do either of you want anything?"

"A beer." They say at the same time. "Got it. What do you want for dinner?" You laugh and ask them. "You make your tea and rest, we'll handle dinner." Steve says. "Just make sure the beers are cold." Bucky adds.

"Easy enough for me." You say and walk inside. They do end up bringing all the boxes in in one trip. You make yourself a hot tea and put a case of beer in the freezer so they get cold fast for them.

They quickly unpack all of the boxes and then come into the kitchen to make dinner. They end up just heating up frozen pizza.

"Thank you for the pizza. This is exactly what babies wanted." You say and give them both a kiss on the cheek. "We need to discuss this name situation." Bucky says.

"Mmm no. You're going to fight over them. We'll talk about them later. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe next week. Not now. I'm happy I'm eating pizza. No stress. New house. Yum. Perfect."
