Sunday Night

That night you all go down the the kitchen for dinner with the rest of the avengers. A Sunday night tradition that started after Bucky had fought his battle against The Winter Soldier.

You and Nat are at Tony's basement bar together after dinner. "So are you gonna tell me why Sam hasn't said a word tonight and every time you look at him he looks like he's shitting himself?"

You down the rest of your drink before replying. "Nope. I would, you know I tell you everything but it isn't my business. It's between Sam and my boys. How about we switch the topic and talk about your newly wed life? Have you and Bruce found a place yet?"

"No. We have not. I think he wants to stay here. All his research is here, our friends, hell not even friends anymore, family. I don't think we'll be moving out."

"Does it make me a bad friend that I'm happy about that?" You both chuckle as she pours you another drink. "Yes it does. Because I know the second you marry those boys and start popping out little Rogers and Barnes babies, you'll leave me."

"We could buy a mansion and you could have a guest house on our property. For you and Bruce. My babies are gonna need their auntie Nat there to help keep me sane. being alone with the boys and their mini me's without my best friend? I'd go mad."

"You all seem really happy together y/n. Thats a but down the line from here though, so we'll figure it out when you decide to leave me. For now though...have you read the mission assignment for this week?"

"Yea I did. This guy seems like quite the character. I haven't got the chance to talk to the boys about it though. I can't believe Tony wants to send you and I alone. What is that about?"

"This guy has a lot of similar qualities to Loki. I'm sure you pick up on that. You can deal with Loki so Tony thinks you can deal with this guy. And you resemble someone that he's obsessed with."

"Great. More guys obsessing over me." Just when you finish another drink Steve and Bucky come up behind you, each putting a hand on each of your shoulders. "What's that about guys obsessing over you doll?" Bucky smirks and moves his hand to your hip squeezing it.

"Oh I was just saying how you two are head over heels in love with me and I just can't seem to get it through your thick skulls that I am interested in someone else." Steve's hand now moves to your ass and gives it a rough squeeze.

"And who would this mystery someone be? Huh baby?" Steve whispers in your ear before nipping at it. "Get a room you three." Natasha laughs and takes your empty glass from you.

"Well this mystery someone just so happens to be my next mission actually. Nat and I were just talking about him. He's psychotic. Sexy. Don't even get me started on those tattoos."

You talk to the boys in a seductive way. Pressing yourself between them, making sure they get hot and bothered. "He has excellent taste in cars. A purple Lamborghini to be exact. Green hair, but it looks so god damn hot on him..."

Steve's breath itches as they realize who you're talking about. He's instantly turned off when the realization hits him. You don't notice his mood change yet so you keep going.

"He'll do anything for love, and my mission is to find out what he's plotting, get inside his beautifully insane mind, my mission is to make him love me...to make myself irresistible to him..."

Nat can't help but laugh at you toying with Bucky and Steve's minds...but then she sees the dead look in Steve's eyes, and so do you. "I think you broke Steve." Nat remarks.

"No. Tony told us you had a mission but I didn't know who it was...y/n he's dangerous. I have no problem with you pretending to be in love with someone for a mission but...not him sweetheart."

"I know he's dangerous baby, everyone we deal with is. But I have to do this. And Nat will be with me." Steve nods and kisses your cheek. "Okay. I know. But God I hate this guy."

"Who are you talking about?" You all realize Bucky wasn't brought up to speed apparently and he's a little farther behind on modern times than Steve, so he doesn't know who this guys it.

"The Joker."
