Twins

"Sweetheart what's wrong?" Steve asks as you're sitting in the doctors office waiting for the doctor to call you in. "Nothing. I'm fine. I'm nervous, this is the first time we get to see the baby."

"Yea, you didn't find out that long before us did you?" Bucky says. You shake your head. "No. I just really hope that the baby is healthy and okay. Especially after all the stress I've been under."

"The baby will be fine." Bucky says and kisses your forehead. "Ms. Y/L/N? The doctor will see you now." A nurse come out and says. She leads you to the room. "I'm just gonna take some blood so we can run a few tests. Okay." She takes your blood. "You can lay down and pull up your shirt, she'll be in in a moment."

You lay down on the bed and lift up your shirt. Both boys are on each side of you holding your hands. "Are you guys excited?" You ask them.

"I am, I can't wait to see our little boy." Steve says. "I can't wait to see our little girl." Bucky corrects. "Okay hush before you confuse our baby."

The door opens and the doctor comes in. "Hi Ms. Y/L/N I'm Dr. Wilson. How are you today?" You have to let go of Steve and Bucky's hands to shake her hand. "I'm good. We just wanna make sure baby is."

She smiles and looks at Steve and Bucky. "It must be nice to have a lot of support? Which one of you is the father?" She asks innocently. "Oh...both?" You say.

"Oh. Sorry I didn't mean to assume anything. You're a very lucky lady. So whose ready to see the baby?" She smiles excitedly, you can tell she's not judging and it makes you even more happy than you already were. You nod and smile.

"Okay this is going to be cold. I'm just gonna put this jelly and wand on so we can see." She puts the jelly on your stomach and the wand. You reach for Steve and Bucky's hands.

They both look intently at the screen and so do you. "So the blood test we took showed some pretty abnormalities in the fetus, but seeing this, everything seems to be perfectly fine."

"Why did the blood test show abnormalities?" You ask worriedly. "Because the blood we took was a combination of three sets of dna. One being yours, and the other two, your babies."

"Babies?" Steve asks. "Yea it looks like you are having twins!" All of your eyes go wide in shock. "Twins?" Bucky asks. "Yep, twins. Very unique twins. Your egg split and it looks like they were each fertilized by a different man. That being you two."

"So what are you saying?" You ask. "Your babies are twins, they're both yours obviously, but one is his and one is his." She says pointing at each of the boys.

"How? is that even possible?" You ask and look at Steve and Bucky. "It is. It's more common than you think too. But, moral of the story is, you have two healthy babies and your lovers are both their fathers." She knew that's what you needed to hear and you couldn't help but smile.

You look at Bucky, "I still don't want to know who's is who's." You say and then look at Steve. "Neither do we. But can we find out the genders?" He asks the doctor. Bucky nods. "Yea that'd be great. Doll?"

"Yea I guess if we can, let's find out."
