He walks you to his room where you go in and sit on the bed. You take a deep breath and look at him. He's standing in the doorway, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed. Giving you a minute to compose yourself. "Okay." You say, gesturing for him to come over to you.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" He asks as he starts walking over to you. "Uhm...so-sorry. I don't know why i'm so nervous." He walks over to you and his body relaxes. His expression softens.

"Come on y/n. Just tell me. You know I'll understand." You know he will. But it's so weird to say it out loud and you can't help but worry that he'll want to leave you like many others did. "I know."

You breath as he sits next to you on his bed. You look from your lap to meet his beautiful baby blue eyes and you finally have the courage to say it. "I'm still a virgin." He smiles and laughs to himself a little. He bites his lip and nods.

"You were waiting to see color because you wanted it to be special, weren't you?" He gives you a knowing look and your faces scrunches together. "Yea, did Bucky tell you?"

He shakes his head. "No, I just know you. We may have just met but I know you more than we both think. I understand you. Just like Bucky does. That's why him and I are your soulmates. We just know you."

You smile and lean in to him, giving him a soft kiss. You back away after kissing him and see a certain look on his face. He's holding back. "And I know you. And there's something you're not saying."

He chuckles and smiles at you, shaking his head. "Ive never fondued before either." You know exactly what he means by fondued. You had read a journal entry Peggy had written about Steve saying how he was always too polite to actual say the real meaning so he said 'fondue'.

You can't help but drop your jaw a little. The way he is with you. He seems so confident, like he knows what he's doing. The way he kisses you. You believe it, because his demeanor is different from Bucky's but having it confirmed, is still a bit shocking.

"What!? Seriously?" You realize you sounded a little too shocked and move your hand to rest on his chest. "I'm sorry. I just- I mean...how?" He laughs and holds his hand overtop yours on his chest. "It's okay. I know i'm over 100 years old. It's crazy."

Your hand drops from his chest and you move it to rest on his thigh. In a comforting way, letting him know he can open up to you. "I never got the chance with Peggy."

You knew her name. You had seen her in the Captain America museum and couldn't help but read about her. But you wanted to make sure. "The women from the 40's you first saw color with?" He nods and a sad smile appears on his face.

"Yea, I never even got the chance to kiss her either. I have kissed other women besides her. Only four, including you. Just not her."

"Weren't you in love with her? How come you never did any of this?" He looks down into his lap and takes a sharp breath. You squeeze his thigh comfortingly, then he looks back up at you.

"I went into the ice before I had a chance..." He stares off into space for a moment before smiling. Obviously reliving a memory. "I still owe her a dance too." You pull him into a hug and you rest in each others arms for several moment before you pull away, your hand still on his cheek.

"Im sorry Steve. I know it's not the same, but I would gladly dance with you id you'd like." He smiles and kisses your forehead. "I would love to dance with you. It would be even better...,maybe not now though, I'm a little full from dinner."

You nod and look away biting your lip. You doubt yourself for a moment. maybe he doesn't want to dance with you...

He sees you questioning yourself and grabs your chin in his hand, moving you to look at him. "But I will dance with you y/n." You smile as he reassures you. You can't help but blush and you feel a flutter in your stomach.
