Can We Stop Now?

Bucky pops the balloon and pink confetti flies everywhere. Bucky's smile is bright and his alone could light up the room. And then you look to Steve who's smiling too. All of the sudden they rush to you and their arms are wrapped around you tightly.

"We get our baby girl..." Bucky says. "Can we stop now?" You ask with a slight laugh. Tears were in your eyes. You were so happy you finally had a baby girl and you were even happier to see the boys reaction to it.

"Doll we stop whenever you're ready to stop. If you want to be done after the triplets we will." Bucky says. "We'll see. Now we have six babies." You say. "Baby?"Steve asks. "What's wrong?" You ask. You can tell by the look in his eyes now something was off.

"Never mind... we'll talk about it when we get home. We're having a baby girl! And two other baby boys! I can't believe you actually held out without telling us I figured you would cave." Steve says.

You knew that Steve was probably going to ask about the baby you had lost, about if you still wanted to get it back, and the answer was yes, but in the moment, thinking about the triplets, you had forgotten about the baby you lost. Just for a second.

"I still want to bring the baby back. I didn't forget about the baby. I promise." You whisper to him. He gives a slight smile and kisses your cheek. "I love you." He whispers. "I love you baby." You whisper back.

"What am I? Chopped liver?" Bucky asks. "Hey you got the special pink balloon I don't want to hear it." Steve chuckles. "I love you Bucky." You tell him. "I love you doll. And our three little babies in your belly. And our two little boys and Peter... and the baby we're gonna bring back." Bucky says.

"How come dad got the special pink balloon and papa and I didn't?" Peter asks. "It was actually unintentional. You all grabbed a random balloon. After I stuffed them and blew them up I lost track of which is which." You explain. "I'm glad it worked out the way it did though, Buck deserved the special pink balloon." Steve says.

"Are you gonna stand there and talk all day or can you cut this cake?" Tony asks. "You are such a ray of sunshine today." You tease to Tony. "Listen I love you and all your little monkeys elsa, I'm happy you finally get a girl, but that cake has been taunting me all day." He says. "We love you too Tony. Now let's cut some cake." You say.
