The next day everyone is eating breakfast and Thor walks in. "I have some news for you all." He says somberly as he walks into the room.

"Why do you sound like someone just died." You joke earning a laugh from everyone in the room. You were all sitting at the table together and you were on Bucky's lap. Because god forbid they let you sit in your own chair.

"Believe me, I'd rather someone die." He says. Everyone looks at him confused and Tony speaks up. "Well what is it Goldilocks?"

"I've gotten word from guards who are on the raft..." when he says this, you know what it is. You know exactly what-who- it's about.

Loki.

"Oh hell no." You go to stand up from Bucky's lap and start to walk away but both him and Steve grab your hands signaling for you to wait.

"Did he escape?" Wanda asks looking around the room to see if anyone else had the same question. Everyone did. Especially you.

"No." He doesn't go on. It's like he's nervous to say it out loud, or doesn't want to. "Then what the hell is it Thor?" Tony says.

"Right, are you gonna tell us or leave us hanging all day?" You ask. Agreeing with Tony's impatience. Everyone around the room looks to Thor.

They wait for him to answer. To say something. Anything. He doesn't. He just looks at you. For a very long time.

It seems like forever. In reality it was a whole two minutes where you two were just staring at each other. Waiting for the other to say something.

"He's been trying to get in contact with me." Thor says. Everyone looks around at each other. Clearly there was something more. That wasn't all that was going on.

There was something that Thor wasn't saying. "What do you mean he's been trying to get in contact with you?" Clint asks.

"He asks the same guard every day if he can make a phone call to me." Thor explains. "Okay. And...?" Bucky says getting impatient of Thor beating around the bush and not telling you fully what was going on.

"And I talked to him yesterday." Again. There was more that he wasn't saying. And you were tired of it. "Okay what did he say Thor?"

"He said. He wants to see you. And if not, he has people on the outside who are going to kill you." Bucky and Steve's grips on you tighten and you can see their jaws Are clinched.

"That's not happening. She's not going to go see him and he's not going to have someone kill her. He's bluffing. And even if he wasn't I'd kill him before I'd let anything happen to her." Steve says.

"Why does he want to see me?"
