The next day while you're in your room contemplating what you had agreed to the previous night while Bucky is talking to Steve in Steve's room.

"Bucky." Steve says. "You did what?" He almost shouts.  "It makes since. We're both her soulmates." Bucky tries to justify his actions.

Steve's sitting on the bed with his arms crossed and Bucky is standing against his dresser with his back against it and his arms folded across his chest just like Steve's.

"Did you even think this through? There are so many ways this could go wrong. All three of us in a relationship. What about marriage? What about kids!? And you got her to say yes?"

Bucky honestly hadn't thought about marriage or kids. And neither did you. Until now. That's exactly what you were thinking across the hall in your room. "Yes I did. And I told her you were already on board. I didn't think you would be a big baby about it."

"We can't both date her Bucky." Steve repeats. He's thinking about it now.  More trying to convince himself he can't rather than Bucky. "It's not logical." He wasn't completely wrong there.

"We can. People apparently do it all the time now." Steve shakes his head and they sit in silence for a moment before he speaks up again.

"I'll give this a shot. But if it looks like she is going to get hurt in any way, I'm out. I don't want her or you getting hurt Buck." Bucky nods and looks to Steve. "Okay."

"This is probably the dumbest thing we've ever done." Steve says. Bucky chuckles. "Besides both being frozen for seventy years." Steve lets go of his seriousness, laughing at Bucky. "Yea there's that."

Their laughter dies off and after a few moments Steve speaks again. "I still can't believe she's both of our soulmates." His mind wanders to your kiss, to you, your smile, your laugh, your eyes. Everything about you.

He barely knows you but he feels so lucky to have met you. So does Bucky. Both of them were dumbfounded by how much they already cared about you. Same for you about them.

"Believe it. She is." Just as they're finishing their conversation you knock on the door softly before coming in. You had heard them both in Steve's room and after what you had been thinking, you knew you needed to have a discussion with them.

Your mind wandered to the future and how complicated it would be. You didn't know yet they were both your soulmates so you were desperately trying to find ways the one who wasn't your soulmate wouldn't get hurt.

But you couldn't. You knew what you had to do to not hurt them. "Hey boys, what're you talking about." Bucky turns to you smiling and relaxes his posture, so does Steve.

Your heart flutters and you instantly regret what you're about to do but you feel like it has to be done. "You of course doll." You chuckle and move closer to them fiddling with your fingers.

"I'm actually glad I have you both here. I-I really don't think I can do the dating you both thing. I hate games. And I don't want either if you getting hurt. One of you is my soulmate and the other will just end up hurting. I don't want you guys getting hurt."

"Y/n, we won't get hurt. Believe me, Bucky had to convince me too. If you don't want to do this, it is perfectly fine. But we both want to. You said you trust me. Trust me. We can try, see where it goes."

"I would love to be with both of you. And I do trust you. But I can't do this knowing that just one of you isn't my soulmate. And one of you will get hurt. I already care about you both too much to let that happen."

"Okay. Well I'll make this easier for you both okay?" You tilt your head confused and Steve gets up walking over to you. He strokes her cheek with his thumb and pulls your lips to his, kissing you gently.

You kiss back, your hands holding his cheeks pulling him closer to you. He slowly pulls away and whispers onto your lips. "I'm walking away before anyone gets hurt okay?"

Before you can respond he leaves his room, leaving you and Bucky in there alone. You stand there in shock and you shake the tears out of your eyes looking at Bucky.

For some reason that hurt more than it should have after only one date. Was he your soulmate? If so, why would he just walk away? You were so confused and turned to Bucky for answers...
