"What? What do you mean he's dead? What happened to him? He just contacted you didn't he?Are you sure he's dead? Did anyone see the body?"

A million thoughts ran through your mind and none of them were good. Loki was the god of mischief. He had faked his death before.

The fact that he had been trying to get you to come see him, threatened your life, and not even 24 hours later he was supposedly dead. There was no way.

There was a catch. He wasn't really dead. Was he? No. He couldn't be. Nothing comes that easy to you. There's no way he could just die like that.

"The guard I spoke to said that he tried escaping and they had to use fatal force on him. It was the only way to stop him. I don't know all the details."

"Do you know for sure that he's dead?" Steve was skeptical. You all were. You all knew Loki too well to believe this. It was a hoax. It had to be. It was way too good to be true.

"No. That's why they're sending his body here. There are several armed guards escorting the body here and it's encased so if he isn't dead and it's an illusion his illusion gets trapped in the case and he can't escape. It'll be here tomorrow."

"So you're bringing his dead maybe not dead body here, Weber's we all are, to the compound, to see if he's really dead? Do you know how dangerous that is? Did you even think about it before you did it?"

You didn't mean to be so rude to Thor, to basically call him stupid. But you were losing it. With everything going on, you were terrified.

Thors brother may have just died and you were insensitive and you didn't mean to be. But then again he probably wasn't even dead. It was probably his plan all along.

Thor knows how frustrated you are and he understands. Last time Loki was there, he turned Bucky into The Winter Soldier.

"I didn't know what else to do y/n. You know we'll all try and keep you safe as best we can. He won't get his hands on you if he isn't really dead. I'll make sure of it."

"Bucky and Steve promised me that one time too. And he didn't get his hands on me. He hurt Bucky. He turned him back into The Winter Soldier to get to me. He hurts the people I love to get to me."

"They can protect themselves. And we can help protect them. Maybe he really is dead y/n. You don't know that he's not dead for sure."

"Are you really that naive to think he's dead? He doesn't die. And for some reason he's so fixated on me and he wants to ruin everything for me. I'm not letting that happen."

"It won't. Leave. All three of you leave until we know he's dead for sure."
