Both Of You

"Nat?" Steve answers the phone and you and Bucky quickly sit up. You know if it's Nat it's important. You can hear her on the other line.

"I'm sorry. I wouldn't call if it wasn't important." She says. She was the one who wanted you to get away for good. They all did but Nat really did.

Both her and Wanda were like sisters to you, they knew how badly you wanted to get away and start your family with Steve and Bucky and how badly you wanted to keep your kids and them safe.

"What's wrong Nat?" Steve asks. "We need you. I know it's been less than a week. I'm so sorry. But we can't do this alone. This is more than just New York Steve." You take Steve's phone from him and put it on speaker so you could really hear all of it and didn't have to strain to hear it.

"Whats happening Natasha?" You ask. "There are six stones. The most powerful things on earth. The infinity stones." She says.

You knew exactly what she was talking about. Loki was after one constantly and Thor had mentioned something about them to you last time he had gone to Asgard.

One of them was in visions head. It powered him. There was the Time stone. The Space Stone. The reality stone. The soul stone. The Power Stone. And the Mind Stone, Visions Stone.

"What about the stones Nat?" Bucky asks. "Thanos is after them. He's a member of the titan eternals. He's powerful. And if he gets these stones, he's going to wipe out over half of the worlds population." She says.

You knew you couldn't let that happen. You knew the boys couldn't let that happen. You knew exactly why she was calling and you knew that Tony didn't know she was calling.

Tony was going to keep you all out of any mission they had at all costs, but Natasha wasn't going to do that because she knew they would want to help.

Steve was trying to keep Bucky out of it. He was for sure going to keep you out of it, you were pregnant after all. He wanted to go by himself and try to keep you both safe. He didn't want you to be alone.

He wanted Bucky to be with you just in case. "So you need me to come back and help you guys? Make sure he doesn't get all of these stones." Steve asks.
