Move In

A month later-

"Are you ready Peter?" You ask as you and Peter are about to leave the compound. You had officially adopted him and today was the day he officially moved into your house.

All of his things were already there but he still slept at the compound up until today. He's about to say goodbye to everyone and you're about to leave to go back to your house.

You left baby Steven and baby James at home with Steve and Bucky. You had been gone since early this morning and it was late afternoon now. You hated being away from the twins but you didn't want to bring them with you.

You didn't want to take any chances taking them in the road with you and it was more of a hassle to travel with them. You would only be gone half the day anyway.

"Yea I'm ready. I said bye to everyone but Mr. Stark. Let me find him real quick." He says. Just as soon as he's about to leave the room Tony walks in shaking his head.

"First the closest thing I have to a daughter leaves the nest, and then, she comes back and takes the closest thing I have to a son with her to be one of her sons even though she already has two?" Tony asks.

"You're just mad because you're a grandpa of three now. Baby Steve baby James and Peter." You laugh and playfully shove him. "I heard it may be four, you're trying? Right?" Tony asks.

"We are. No luck so far but it's only been a month since the wedding so we have time. And the boys have a chance to get a little bigger before we bring a new baby into the mix." You say.

"Im so excited to see the twins again, it's been a few weeks. I hope you guys have a girl." Peter says. "So do we. With our luck, we'll end up having all boys though, I may have to turn you into a girl Peter."

"Uhm. No thank you. Mr. Stark, is it to late to stay?" He teases looking at Tony. "Way to late. You better get going so y/n has time to put the twins to bed, they're spoiled and won't go to sleep without her." Tony says.

He was trying to be insensitive even though he knows he's gonna miss you both a lot. Even though you'll be visiting, the whole point was to get away from that life and you didn't want any bad guys to be able to track you.

"Bye Mr. Stark. I'll call you when we get there." Peter says. "Okay. Drive safe, and behave Peter. Help with the twins. I'll miss you. Call me okay?" He says.

"Bye tony. We'll call when we get there. Thank you for everything." You say. You and Peter walk out the door and drive back to your house. Back to your family.
