Loss

"I'm so sorry Bucky." You say. He picks your head up so you look at him and wipes the tears from your cheeks. "It wasn't your fault. You don't have to be sorry. Everything will be okay doll. Just breath."

You take a few deep breaths and all three of you cry together. You were all grieving the loss of your unborn child. Which was a lot. It was a lot to wrap your mind around the fact that you lost a baby but you were pregnant with two.

But you were so great full the twins were okay. You don't know what you would have done if you didn't have them or Bucky back.

Later that night you had fallen asleep and Bucky asked Steve to talk with him privately. They go into a room alone. "What's wrong buck?" Steve asks him. Bucky shakes his head with tears in his eyes.

"You got her pregnant." Bucky says. "Buck, you were gone. We didn't know if we would be able to bring you back. We had sex we didn't know she would get pregnant. We weren't thinking in the moment." Steve explains.

"I don't care that you had sex it's not about that!" Bucky yells. "Then what is it?" Steve asks him. Something was bothering Bucky and if it isn't the sex Steve didn't know what it could possibly be.

"You got her pregnant and now she has something else that she has lost! How could you do that to her!? She lost almost everything, all she had left was you Tony and Natasha, and then she got pregnant." Bucky says.

"We didn't mean for her to get pregnant. And she had a miscarriage there was nothing anyone could do to prevent it." Steve says.

"She had to grieve three children, me, almost all of her friends, all at once, and it's your fault because you got her pregnant. You couldn't have put a condom on? Pulled out?" Bucky yells.

"Bucky I lost the twins too. I was there when she lost the baby, that was my baby too. I lost Sam I lost Peter. Wanda, vision, strange. I lost all of them too. Natasha's dead now too. And I lost you! I lost you too. Again." Steve yells.

Bucky starts to realize that he was overreacting. He was in the wrong too. He didn't meant to yell at Steve. He was angry and upset and he was just taking it out on Steve and he shouldn't have.

"Steve..." Bucky starts. "No! I keep losing you. Over and over and over again and I'm sick of it. It hurts more every time because every time I'll get closer to not getting you back. I can't do it anymore!" Steve yells. "Do what?" Bucky asks.

"I can't lose you again Bucky. And I can't have you yelling at me. I can't have you angry at me because all I want to do is hold you and y/n and never let either of you go. So stop yelling at me."
