Dad

"Wait wait wait. Before you tell me. Buck, Steve, I don't want you to hear." You say. You had quickly thought of something just as she was about to reveal the sex of the baby to you. Since you couldn't surprise them with the pregnancy, you would surprise them with the babies gender.

"What? Why?" Bucky asks. "Because, I didn't get to tell you about the pregnancy, Nat did and she ruined it. So I want to at least make this special and have a little gender reveal for you and everyone." You tell them. They look between each other.

You knew it wasn't totally fair because they wanted to know so bad. But you wanted at least one thing to come out of this right and to be some sort of special for all of you. They knew how much it meant to you and finally gave in. "Okay. We'll be outside. I love you sweetheart." Steve says and kisses your cheek. "Just don't wait forever to tell us doll. I love you." Bucky says kissing your forehead.  "I won't. I promise. I love you guys." You say as they head out of the room. They shut the door behind them and leave the room, leaving you to find out on your own...

You had found out the babies gender and were now home with all of your boys. "Did you find out what if is?" Peter asks almost instantly. "I did. But it's a surprise. I'm gonna throw a gender reveal party for all of you and make it special since I didn't really have a choice in how I told everyone about the pregnancy." You explained to Peter.

"That's not fair. Only you get to know. I want to know." Peter says. "You'll find out when everyone else does. I'll throw together something and have it on Friday. That's four days from now. If Steve and Bucky can wait, so can you." You tell him. "But...dad, you can't think this is fair." Peter says.

Your eyes go wide and you look to his eye line and see who he just called dad, Steve or Bucky. Buckys smile is huge and Steve's is too as he looks between Bucky and Peter. "I think it's a good idea, and what mom says, goes. We'll find out in a few days." Bucky answers.

"Fine." Peter says. You loved the little interaction between them and didn't dare interrupt. Steve smirks and looks up at Peter. "Buck gets to be Dad, what does that make me?" Steve asks. "Daddy. Obviously." Bucky says. "Ew no. That's gross. I hear mom saying that in a different context all the time and it's gross."

"Sorry. We did kind of butcher that didn't we?" You say with a laugh. "Yea. And I can tell you're not sorry. But you're papa cuz you're an old man." Peter tells Steve. "Hey! Buckys old too! He's actually older than me!" Steve tells him. "Sorry pop that's just how it works." Peter says.
