Soulmates

You Sing

The babies had been kicking all night and you couldn't sleep. When this happened you would go into the living room and sit in the rocking chair and sing to them. It normally helped calm them. But not tonight. It didn't work tonight.

Bucky walks in the room as you finish the song you had been singing to the babies. "Hey doll. They still kickin?" He asks and kneels in front of you kissing your forehead. "Yea. Singing to them isn't working tonight."

"What song were you singing them?" You smile and look down at your bump where Buckys hand was now rested as he place a kiss to it. "Little things. I always sing little things. It's the only one that calms them down. Not tonight though."

"You want me to try?" Bucky asks looking up at you and unconsciously rubbing your belly soothingly. "Please." He smiles and leans up to give you a soft kiss on the lips.

"They like the solo at the end." Steve says as he comes into the room. "They do. How did you know?" He walks into the room and kneels next to Bucky.

"Because I hear you sing to them every night and right at that part you start to relax. I can hear it in the way you sing to them."

"How about we sing that part and see if it works?" Bucky asks looking up at you. "That's Niall's part by the way." You say and crinkle your nose as you smile.

"You'll never love yourself half as much as I love you." Steve sings and looks up at you. You had never heard either of them sing before except when they hum or mumble some song.

"And you'll never treat yourself right darlin but I want you to." Bucky sings. Both of the rub your belly while they sing to the babies. "If I let you know, I'm here, for you."

"Maybe you'll I've yourself like I," Bucky sings and they both look up to you. "You sing." They smile and Steve continues the song. "Love you..."

"They're settled." You say and smile down at Bucky and Steve. Bucky leans on and placed a soft kiss on your lips and then so does Steve. "You wanna go back to bed?"

"No...they started kicking again..." both of them start laughing and Steve presses a kiss to your belly. "We're gonna be singing to you both all night aren't we?"

"I believe we will. We've already spoiled them and they aren't even born yet." Bucky says with a big smile on his face. "They're gonna think I'm the mean one." You say, but you smile, at them, at the boys...
