Soulmates

Taken

It's been a week since you left the compound and went to the suburbs with Nat for some time alone. You're really looking forward to going back and seeing Steve and Bucky again, but being there really helped you, part of you is sad to leave.

You've already loaded up the car and you're about to leave. "Did you forget anything? Do you wanna do one last sweep? Make sure?" Nat asks as she's about to lock the door.

"No I got everything. If I didn't, I wouldn't mind coming back up here anyway." She smile and locks the door before you both get yourselves into the car.

It's about an hour drive back to the compound and you fall asleep on your way back. Nat's driving. You hear a door shut and it wakes you up. You look around and you're back at the compound.

You instantly get out of the car and run inside, leaving your bags in there for now. You're met at the door by Bucky and Steve. Neither man can stop smiling. Both of them try to contain themselves to see how you react but you running into their arms was enough.

They wrap their arms around you and you nestle yourself between them. "I missed you both." You whisper. They both let go of the hug but each have one of your hands in theirs.

"We missed you too. We actually have something to tell you. But first, how was it? How are you?" Bucky says. You lean up and kiss him softly. "I'll tell you inside, do you wanna help me grab my bags?"

"What else would we do? This is where having two super soldier boyfriends comes in handy." Steve says as he winks at you. "That isn't the only time it comes in handy." You smile back.

Both of them laugh and help you get your bags out of the car. They take them in with you and put them in your room. Once you all get settled one again, you know it's time to talk.

"Okay. So, the week away was really good for me. I talked to Nat about everything and I had a lot of realizations about everything that happened. I know you both know what he did to me, but that wasn't the only thing..." you start to get emotional.

"I didn't even tell Nat this. Uhm. I haven't even admitted it to myself really yet. But you know how I had ice powers. Like Elsa? That's why Tony always calls me Elsa?" They nod and hold your hand, trying to comfort you since you're now crying.

"Well when I got there, when he first made me "his queen" or whatever, he did tears in me, to make sure I was who I said I was. Like to see if I had powers. And I did. I told him I had them since I was born, which is true and that I never used them."

Neither of them know where this is going. You knew honestly what happened was for the best but it was still a part of you that was taken.

"After he ran the tests he said there was only one way for me to really prove myself. There were two actually. One, sleeping with him, but that was unspoken."

Bucky cuts you off. "Doll, just tell us what happened." He says it calmly and wipes a tear from your cheek. He knows you're trying not to say it, that you don't want to, but he knows you need to. You do.

"He took my powers."
