I Love My Boys

"What do you mean that's what this is about?" Nat asks. "This whole thing is because you're jealous that y/n is with Steve. So am I. And you aren't. And we have a beautiful family, we have kids and we keep having them and you can't have any." Bucky says.

"I'm hanging up now." Nat says. "Good. And do me a favor. Lose my number. Steve and y/n's too." Bucky says before hanging up the phone. He walks back into the house and you and Steve are in the kitchen.

"Hey babe. Where were you? We woke up and you weren't there." You ask. "The bed felt cold." Steve says. You look at buckys features and realize he looks distressed. "What's wrong buck?" You also him. "I talked to Nat." He says. "You did?" You ask.

"Yea. She's not budging. I figured it out though. She's jealous because she's in love with Steve and we have a family, and she can't have one." He says. You take a deep breath and shake your head. Now that everything was finally okay with you Steve and Bucky you were able to think about things with Nat.

You were heartbroken that she told the boys you were pregnant before you could. It hurt that one of your best friends just turned on you for no reason. If she was a real friend, she would've given you the benefit of the doubt and heard you out instead of jumping to conclusions and telling your husbands you were pregnant before you got the chance to.

"It just doesn't make sense. She's with Bruce. But as much as I love Nat, and I want to mend things. I can't. She took something from me last night. It's not just about trying to hurt our marriage, she took the opportunity for me to tell you about the pregnancy. I've never had the chance to do that before. And unless we end up having another kid...I never will. And she's in love with one of my husbands." You tell Bucky.

"I know. And that's what I told her on the phone. She still wasn't budging. I get it. Personally I hope you don't forgive her for that. But I can't make decisions for you." Bucky says. "I'm not going to. I really wished you would've waited until we could all talk to her together though Buck." You say.

"I'm sorry. I was hoping I could talk some sense into her and then she'd call you and apologize and everything would end up being okay, but obviously that wasn't the case. Im sorry doll." Bucky says. "It's the thought that counts." You tease and then look to Steve. "You're awfully quiet baby." You say.

"I'm still tired. I completely agree though. Nat was 100% in the wrong and I won't be talking to her so I wouldn't be mad if you weren't either. Bruce is her soulmate and our relationship has always been platonic so I don't see why she all the sudden has feelings for me. Especially when there's no way in hell they would ever be mutual." Steve says.

"Okay killer. Well, I love you both very much. Now since I couldn't tell you both about the baby in a special way...how about we go tell Peter in a special way?" You also them. "I think that's a perfect idea sweetheart. And this is why I love you so much. You make the best out of an imperfect situation." He says.

"I second that doll I love you very much too. And after we tell Peter we can tell the twins, even if the won't understand just yet." Bucky says. "I love my boys."
