A couple weeks later you're in Natasha's room with her and Wanda. You hadn't really talked to anyone since the incident with Loki.
"Y/n, you know everything everyone said that day was just to try to make him not want you anymore and let you go. Nobody meant any of it." Nat says.
"I know. But most of it was actually true. I get the over dramatizing my purity and mentioning the joker, that didn't bother me, in the end it worked out, it needed to be said to get me to where I was..."
You stop for a minute and collect your thoughts. Both Nat and Wanda obviously impatient and wanting to get your full response to the situation.
"But...?" Wanda asks after a moment. "But I don't use my powers. That's one thing that's been bugging me. I didn't then and I don't know why. I could have. I could have saved us all the trouble and killed him right then and there."
"You were scared. You were in the middle of a very stressful situation and you're pregnant. You were when it all happened. You had a baby to worry about." Nat says.
"That's exactly it though. My first instinct should have been to use my powers, keep my baby safe, keep my babies fathers safe. But I froze."
"It's totally normal. You've been in that situation before. It brought you back to when you were with the Joker and you're safe now, that's all that matters." Wanda says.
"I shouldn't even be on the team. Not one mission I have been on have I used my powers. The only reason I'm still here is because everyone feels bad for me and because of Steve and Bucky."
"That's not true at all. We al care about you. And you've been through so much on this team in the past two years that you deserve a bit of slack."
"As for the not using your powers, you don't even need powers to be a successful avenger. You're smart and you are strong without them. You don't use them because you don't need to."
"I still shouldn't even be on the team though. I can't even go on missions anymore. I'm useless to you guys." Both of them were being extremely supportive. They listened and helped you work through what you needed to work through.
"You are not. Bruce isn't a field agent, and he's a very important asset to the team." Natasha says. "And no she's not being biased just because it's her husband."
"I guess your right, but how am I going to be an avenger and be a mom? Being an avenger is hard enough alone as it is. Even without field missions."
"You have two amazing baby daddies to help you. And us if you ever need it. And you have always wanted to be a mom, you're going to be a great mom y/n. You already are and the baby isn't even here yet." Natasha says.
"I do have two really great baby daddies. And I have really great friends. Who I will see later because my baby daddies just text and asked where I was because they need me, with a bunch of winky faces, which means I'm about to get some. So..."
"Yea bye." Wanda laughs and waves you off. "No wonder you're pregnant." Natasha laughs as you leave the room. "Yeah yeah."
