Bruce

The next day you're in the twins room with Steve and Bucky changing the babies diapers. Your phone rings and you pick it up without seeing who it is. When you answer, it's Bruce. "Hello?" You answer. "Hey y/n. It's Bruce. Are you busy?" He asks.

"Nope, You've given me the perfect excuse to leave while Steve and Bucky change the boys' diapers. What's up?" You ask as you leave the room earning confused looks from Steve and Bucky and a "what the hell?" Face as well. "It's about Natasha." He says.

"I'm assuming it's about what happened when she was at my house the other day?" You ask unfazed. You figured this was what it would be about. And you didn't know how to tell him that the reason she was so angry was because she had feelings for Steve. Especially over the phone.

"It is. But I actually don't know what happened. And ever since she came back, she's been acting really weird. She's just not herself. And I wanted to know, if you don't mind me asking, what happened the other day? Because now she's even more withdrawn." He asks.

Bruce was so sweet. It baffles you how in mere seconds he can turn into a giant green rage monster. It seemed impossible. You felt awful that he was in this position and he was absolutely clueless about everything that had gone on and you were the one who had to break it to him.

"Are you sure? Do you wanna meet for lunch or something so I can talk to you in person? I want to make sure you'll be alright it's a lot to take in. I don't even know how to explain it fully." You tell him.

"I'll be fine. I just want to know what's going on with my wife. I have a right to know." Bruce says. "I completely agree. You do have a right to know. And I'll tell you. But you have to stay calm you can't get angry I don't want the Hulk coming out." You tell him. "I'll be fine y/n." He says.

"I'm going to make a long story short, basically, Nag and I were talking and I told her I'm pregnant, she got mad because I said I wanted the baby to be Bucky's because Steve and I already have a baby. She was flipping out and she told Bucky and Steve I was pregnant and I hadn't told them yet. And she told Steve I didn't want the baby to be him. And then she left. I explained and we're all okay now but the next day Bucky called Nat and she basically told him that she has feelings for Steve. I'm sorry. I don't know why or how but all I know is Steve said there's nothing to worry about from his side and I just...I don't understand it either." You explain.

"I'm glad you told me." He says shortly. "I think it was also be that she can't have kids and I keep having them but I'm not sure. I'm really sorry. She was fine at the wedding and at the birth of the twins, when we adopted Peter, but this is so out of character for her. I hope everything works out Bruce. And if you need anything call me." You tell him. "I will. I gotta go. I'll call you later, thanks y/n."
