After you use the restroom and go out to the car you see everyone, except Steve, who was driving, was asleep. Bucky was passed out in the passenger seat. His jaw was slack and his head was tilted to the side. You wanted to give him a kiss on his cheek, he looked so adorable, but you didn't want to disturb him.
"You ready to go sweetheart?" Steve asks after you get in and buckle your seatbelt. "Yep." You say. You lean forward and kiss his cheek before sitting back down. He smiles back at you before backing out of the driveway and starting the drive back home.
"What took you so long? Is your belly okay?" He asks. He probably thought you were having stomach issues or something. Because you were gone a while and were supposed to be peeing. "No...uhm, I ran into Natasha on the way to the bathroom." You tell him. He looks at you through the mirror and he squinted a bit. "Yea?" He asks. Waiting for you to elaborate but not wanting to pry.
"Yea. And she said she was sorry. And she was bored and jealous and she didn't actually have feelings for you she just felt like she needed something different in her life because she felt like she was stuck and we were arguing and she thought maybe...but anyway, it was a load of excuses." You rant to him. "It does sound like a load of excuses. So what did you say to that?" He asks.
"I told her I didn't forgive her. Not just because of her supposedly having feelings for you but for taking the chance for me to have told you and Bucky about the pregnancy. And she said she was sorry and she wished she could take it back." You say. "But she can't." Steve says.
"I know. That's what I told her. And I told her I just wanted to move on. I told her I didn't forgive her but I wanted to start over and move forward, but things won't ever be the same. But I was tired of fighting." You tell Steve.
"I'm glad that's the route you went. I know you can never forgive her, part of me won't either, but I know you hate holding grudges and so do I. It's less stress on you to not have to worry about fighting with her all the time and she isn't worth you stressing over either." Steve says. "I know. Thank you for listening. I just needed to get it all out and I'm so exhausted. It was a long day. I can't wait to get home and sleep." You say.
"You know I'm always here. I'm here to listen, to rant to, to rant with you. And sleep sounds really good. Holding you and Bucky all night. I signed up for this for the rest of my life...you know I love you." He says. "I love you." You say.
