After their argument, Steve and Bucky completely shut themselves down. All Steve did for the next week was train. All Bucky did was sit by your bedside.
Steve desperately wanted to go in and sit with you too but he knew Bucky needed space and he didn't feel like arguing anymore. They were both exhausted. And they were done fighting. Both too stubborn to admit it.

"Barnes go take a shower. There's been no change. She won't wake up while you're gone and you reek." Tony had been as sensitive as he could to the situation and he was being really nice but being nice to Bucky wasn't working. He wasn't listening to nice.
"At least get Steve in here while I'm gone." He didn't want you to be alone. He hated the idea of you waking up after three weeks and being alone. "Alright I'll go get him."

"Have you and Bruce found anything? Do you have any idea why she's not waking up?" Tony looks at Steve pursing his lips together and shaking his head.
They hadn't found any reason why you hadn't woken up for the past three weeks. "The only thing that's logical at this point is that it was too much on her body. It was too much to handle for her."
"Do you think she'll ever wake up?" Tony was leaned up against your bed now facing Steve. "I hope so. She's gone through so much trauma lately between her assault getting her powers taken and now getting them back, her body probably just needs time to heal. That guy really did a number on her."
"Yea. He did. Y/n said she wanted him to be alive so she could kill him herself and Bucky and I told her that it wouldn't have made her feel better, because she's not a killer. But neither am I and I want the same thing. I want to kill him myself."
"That makes two of us." Bucky says as he walks into the room. "Three." Tony chimes in before walking back over to check your vitals again.
"Hey." Steve whispers as Bucky sits next to him. "Hey. Nothing new I'm guessing." Steve shakes his head and look back to you. You looked like you were just sleeping. Which yea you were, but not in a coma, you looked healthy, you looked fine, but for some reason you weren't.
"I know you care. I shouldn't have snapped at you. You know I do that when I'm scared. It's no excuse, I know that. And I'm sorry. You're hurting too and I should have been there for you."
"I know, it's okay. I just wanted to give you space. I know that's what you need when you're hurting. As much as I hated giving you space."
"Are y'all gonna kiss? Do I need to leave?" Bucky clears his throat and tries to back away from Steve but Steve doesn't let go of his hand. "Fuck off Tony."
"Language." Bucky chuckles and Steve gives him a death stare. "You think that's funny?" Steve says seriously looking at Bucky who is still laughing.
"I think it's hilarious." Steve starts laughing too and for a moment they forget that you're in a coma. They forget about the sadness and for a second their happy. Until the laughter dies down.
"I'm going to go it's late. If any changes happen call me." Tony says as he leaves the room. Bucky turns to Steve. "You said she'd wake up Steve."
"She will. I know she will. I just don't know when. But she's a fighter. She's fighting for us in there Buck. I know she is. So we have to fight for her."
