Back at the compound

"I missed you so much." You cry into Bucky as he holds you. "I'm back doll. And so are the twins. Everything's gonna be okay now." He says. Steve is rubbing your back too and he looks at Bucky with tears in his eyes. "I missed you." Steve says to Bucky.

"I'm not going anywhere anymore. We're gonna go home, we're gonna have the babies, plan our wedding and raise our family together. No more missions. I'm done. For good." Bucky says.

Tony had been recovering in Bruce's lab since the final fight with Thanos. He's going to make a full recovery. The only reason he didn't die when he used the stones was because he still had his arch reactor. It absorbed the energy of the stones and helped him live after the snap.

"I like the sound of that." Steve says. He runs his fingers through your hair and kisses your cheek. You were still crying into Bucky. "B-Bucky...I need to tell you what happened while you were gone."

"I heard about Natasha." Bucky says. "Sweetheart, we can tell him later. He just got back. Let's wait until we get back home." He looks at Bucky and gives him a nod, telling him to trust him, don't object, it's from the best. "Okay." Bucky says.

"No. I want to tell you now." You start. "Go back home Elsa." Tony says as he walks into the room. "How you feeling?" Steve asks him.

"I'd feel better if you all went home and got on with your lives. Go home. There's nothing for you here. We'll all be at your wedding but you have to plan it first, yea?" You nod and get up and hug him.

Every part of you thought you would lose him too when you saw him with the stones. You couldn't handle losing anything or anyone else. So seeing him live, gave you hope.

Having Bucky back, gave you hope. Having the twins back, gave you hope. Even if Natasha was gone, you know she sacrificed herself for the world and you know she'd want you to be happy.

It hurt to know she wouldn't be at your wedding, that she died, you would never see her again. But she would. In spirit. She would always be with you. And you hadn't told the guys this, but you wanted to name your daughter after her.

"Thank you Tony." You whisper. "Go home little one. I'll see you soon." He says. "You better Tony. And you better call me. All the time. And when I call you, you better answer. And you're still walking me down that isle." You say. "I will walk you down that isle."
