"Y/n, we can get your powers back." Thousands of thoughts ran through your head. The one that stuck out was whether or not you wanted them back.

Yes you were upset that your powers were taken from you but it wasn't because you wanted them, you hated the thought of having your powers because you felt like if you had them you'd accidentally hurt someone again.

You were upset they were taken because they were taken from you. You had no choice. You were simply strapped from a table and rid of something you had since you were born. Something was taken from you without you having a say.

You had no control over it. If it were Bruce taking them in a controlled setting and you gave him permission to, that's completely different, you would let him. But that's not what happened.

So now you were stuck. Part of you wanted to take them back so you could take your power back, so you could feel like yourself again. But was it worth it to risk putting the people you love in danger?

"I- I don't know." Tony looks at you confused. "What do you mean you don't know. We can give you your powers back." He doesn't get it. Neither of them do. How could they?

"I don't know if I want them back. What if I hurt someone?" Neither of them knew about how you had killed your ex with your powers, now you were realizing you'd probably have to explain it to them.

"You know how to use your powers. They're the same powers that were taken from you, we're giving them back. It's no different."

"I don't though. The last time I used my powers I killed someone on accident because I was angry Tony. It was someone I loved. I don't want to do that again."

"I'm sorry y/n we didn't know." Bruce had been quite the entire time up until now. You could tell he really did feel bad. "We thought that giving you your powers back would make you feel more like yourself we didn't know about the accident."

"It's okay. I only told Steve Bucky and Nat. I do want to feel like myself again, I want to feel like I'm in control of myself again but I don't want to hurt anyone. If I did I-"

"You won't. We can train with you to help you get better control of them. But it's entirely up to you. If you don't want them back okay, if you do, okay. Just let us know what you want to do. Take some time."

"Okay." Just as you're about to walk out of the room Bruce calls your name. "Y/n?" You turn around and look at him. "Yea?"

"I know you're scared you're going to hurt someone, but you won't. Get them back. You'll regret it if you don't."
