Summary: Y/N was just listening to a muggle radio when a certain song comes on that she really likes so Y/N decides to sing it to Hermoine one night when she's upset.
Y/N's POV: I have a strange fascination with this muggle radio that I use to learn about what's going on outside of Hogwarts. It's normally just in the background until one song comes on, it sounds very relaxing and romantic like something that people would sing to their partner at their weddings.
I listen to the entire of it, memorising all of the lyrics in an instant. It's a very adorable song, definitely something that I could possibly sing to Hermoine in the future or something...
A few days later: I'm just reading when there's a knock at my door, I look up from my book and answer the door to find my girlfriend there in tears.
"Hey, sweetheart. What's happened? Why the tears?" I immediately inquire, panicking. She stays silent and just shows me her hand; it has the words 'mudblood' and 'f****t' engaved on her skin like a tattoo.
"Umbridge happened..." She chokes up, sniffling so I just pull her into my embrace and kiss her forehead.
"I'm right here, sweetheart." I remind her as I can hear her sobbing into my chest making my heart shatter into a billion pieces. I grab her hand and kiss it gently making her smile at me, weakly.
"We need to report this to Professor McGonagall or a teacher like Hagrid because this happened to Harry as well." I tell her and she nods, averting eye contact before I pull her into the room. "But right now, I need to cheer you up and I may have just the solution for that."
I sit at my piano and play the first chords to the song that I heard a couple nights ago.
"I heard this song on that radio that I always carry around with me, it reminded me of you so I dedicate it to you." I tell her and she smiles at me.

I end the song and she's looking at me with so much love and adoration that I can just sense her heart bursting with happiness.
"You're really sweet, baby." She tells me, kissing my cheek. "That song is adorable and I loved it."
