surprised by her words, but before he could say anything she saw something out of the corner of her eye. When she looked up, she saw a gray wolf's tail slip behind the buildings on the other side of the fence.
Ember took off, following it and as she did, she left a picture behind. Gray picked it up, he was surprised by the picture. It was beautifully drawn, but the part that surprised him was the picture itself. He looked in the direction she went, and he followed her back. There he saw Nanook standing still while Ember tried to get her to go back to the forest.
It was pointless though so Ember sat in the snow and leaned on the fence. Nanook touched her nose to Embers' face for a second. Ember closed her eyes and remembered the day Kojak's pack found her. Ember had wandered off and got lost. She found a dome maid of thorns and something drew her in.
As she went in, she saw that it opened up to a field of green with a hot spring on the far end. The light from the sun came through the thorns as the hot spring kept the area warm. There was a small cliff beside the spring. It was like another world. When your world is mostly snow and cold this is like a sanctuary especially when you're lost.
She felt safe here and had taken a nap when she woke up. She saw the pack around her Nanook was a light gray wolf with dark brown eyes something told Ember that she was safe with them. Nanook came up to her first and smelled her Koda was behind Nanook and when she walked away, Koda stayed and played with Ember for a little bit. He was a snow-white wolf pup with light brown eyes. After a while Ember started to get tired, she looked at Nanook and asked. "Do you
