Ember laughed a little not believing Angela was going to try to deny it even now.
Ember said, "it wasn't Gray who told me it was your brother." Angela went even paler as the sword disappeared and a portal opened behind Ember. Gray came up behind Ember as he said, "I thought we agreed you wouldn't run off again what happened back..." he cut off realizing he had walked in on something. Ember asked, again, "were you ever going to tell us?"
Angela got mad and said, "I don't have to tell you anything especially since it's clear to me you choose your side. the seal is gone so I can only assume you are his mate now." Ember flinched and said, "we haven't done anything. What seal are you talking about?" Angela got madder and said, "don't lie to me I can see the seal is broken if you had married a hunter, it would have made it permanent, if you choose a shifter as a mate, it would break the seal." Ember stepped closer as her anger grew and asked, "what did you do to me?" Angela looked at her madder than Ember has ever seen her as she said, "I sealed away your ability to shift as a baby and you would have never got that ability had you married a hunter like I told you to. it was for your own good you were born a monster unlike your sister who was born a proper hunter."
Ember flinched and said, "your seal wasn't broken, it was removed." She took off her necklace and tossed it to Gray. he looked at it and smiled and said, "I wondered how she could have made you a shifter." Angela said, "what is he talking about and why did your aura change when you took off your necklace." Ember smiled and said, "a special spirit took your seal away and gave me back what you stole from me."
