are we going to get her back when the portal closed. you said, you can't open a portal there." Gray walked over to Ember's sword and said, "we reopen the portal she went through it never closed completely." he grabbed the sword and pulled it in a circle forcing the portal open again. he left the sword in the portal as he went through, he followed the pull that always led him to Ember.
Meanwhile Ember was happy that Gray was on his way but the demon came back. he opened the gate and caught hold of her as she tried to get away from him. he kissed her, she felt as if her energy was being pulled away once more as she tried to pull away. he just wrapped one arm behind her head and the other arm around her waist keeping her from pulling away. Soon she couldn't move much, she could barely stand, Suddenly he moved away.
When Gray got to her the demon had her and was kissing her. anger ran through Gray every time he saw the demon kissing Ember. Gray cut him forcing him away, then Gray caught Ember she was in a worse condition than ever. He wanted to kill the demon but Gray knew he needed to get her out of here and to sanctuary. Ember couldn't open her eyes but she could tell it was Gray who had her now and moved closer to him.
Gray gently muttered. "I'm sorry for taking so long. I will get you out of here soon.'' The demon attacked him as he ran with her. Gray managed to cut the demon's shoulder and his leg before the demon retreated. the portal had closed almost all the way by the time he got there. Gray had to grab the blade of the sword to open it again.
