He nodded and took off as the adults rounded the corner with their guns. Ember stood in the way as they tried to point the guns. when Ember said, "no stop he was just trying to protect me if he really wanted to hurt them, he would have done it." She grabbed some of the guns and pointed them down.
Ember looked at Owen and said, "Please tell them to stop, you know that I'm telling the truth." Owen nodded and said, "she's right it would have. let it go this time but if it gets back in, we will have to put it down." she looked at him and said, "he won't get back in." She turned just in time to see Koda howl. She waved, not caring who saw.
When she got home, she went to her room to lie down in her bed. She was grounded for letting a wolf inside the fence though it didn't matter anyway she had no were to go. She texted Gray and said, "I saw Koda today I told him to find you and the pack." Gray smiled a little as he read the text he had just returned. he texted back "I saw him a few moments ago he made it safely don't worry."
Ember smiled happy to know the pack was safe with Gray she was still sad she couldn't see them but it couldn't be helped they were safer away from her. she texted "thank you for taking them I'm glad their safe but I wish I could see them again." Gray had a picture taken earlier expecting she would miss them. He sent it to her. He smiled a little as he did and went back to his drawing.
