attack, Kojak was ready to protect Ember from Jack. Jack tried to get between Ember and Kojak but failed.

when the pack came between them and stopped them from fighting as Anna said, "you guys are on the same side you both want to protect Ember." Jack was not going to put his sword away just yet. Ember was woken up by some of the arguing. When she woke up Jack was standing with his sword drawn and Pete and the others tried to explain to Jack that Kojak was not a threat to Ember and to Kojak that Jack was sent to protect her. she got up and moved between them and said, "Jack put your sword away now. this is Kojak, he's one of the pack and one of the people I trust."

Kojak was sad as Ember said, that she knew Kojak was being controlled when he attacked her so she didn't blame him. She blamed Ethen but Jack said, "you're hurt and he was standing over you. I know he had something to do with it." Ember got mad and said, "he didn't do anything wrong. I got hurt because of that man Gray is fighting. that's who you should worry about, not Kojak." Kojak started to argue that he was the one who hurt Ember but she cut him off and said, "you didn't do anything wrong, okay he did." she pointed at Ethen as she said, that then she asked, "are there any more beast's I know how to free their minds."

As she said, that she started to walk but began to fall. Kojak caught her and said, "yes there were a lot who fell under his spell." She then saw the women gathered behind the pack. There were so many of them then she saw Ethen hit a button and the walls open just like before as he said, "get the hunter girl." Gray knocked him out a second later and looked at Ember as the beasts started to come out of the holes. He used a portal to get to her, he could tell she was hurt.
