and took it to the bathroom. After Alice got Ember a bath ready, she left the bathroom and told Ember it was ready. Ember walked in there and Alice walked out and said, "if you need anything just call." Ember nodded and closed the door; she couldn't get herself to look at Alice or say anything to her.

Ember got in the bath and just sat there for at least an hour. Alice asked, Ember if she was alright. Ember moved but still couldn't get herself to say anything. Alice said, "Well if you're moving your fine, I'll leave you alone for now but if you're in there for too much longer I'm coming in to check on you." Ember smiled a little and finished her bath and got out.

She was almost dressed when Alice came in and Ember was pulling down her shirt, she knew Alice saw her scar. Alice looked at Ember and asked, "where did you get that from?" Ember covered it and didn't say a word. Alice then said, "sorry I guess it's not something you want to talk about is it." Ember still didn't say anything as she gathered her stuff and walked out of the bathroom. Ember sat her stuff next to the bed and sat on the bed she laid down knowing she wasn't going to get to sleep so she looked up at the ceiling.

It was still late and she didn't want to wake anyone, so she just laid there Alice turned out the light and went back to sleep. Ember just laid there in the dark the rest of the night, when morning came, she could still see images of the nightmare flashing through her mind. Alice got up quietly not wanting to wake Ember but she was already awake and sat up letting Alice know she was awake and didn't need to be quiet for her. Alice apologized thinking she woke Ember and then said, "are you hungry? I can get us something to eat." Ember just shook her head.
