Ember had to take an extra class her parents signed her up for. The culture teacher held a class that teaches different fighting styles from different places. Gray had also signed up for that class but was planning on skipping it today until he saw Ember go in, so he went in.
This year was old England, so they were learning to be knights. sound's fun, right? well, it probably would be if the whole school wasn't out to get you like they were for Ember. She tried to avoid participating as much as possible, so she wasn't as good as the other kids in school. Gray brought his own sword and not the wooden ones the rest of the class were using.
The guys and girls alike surrounded him in seconds. Ember laid back and looked out the window just wanting to leave. Gray saw her and wanted to go over to her and try to talk to her, but the teacher came up and got everyone to back off. Kayla was also in the class and was one of the few who stayed back. Kayla was Ember's twin sister and looked almost exactly like Ember though Kayla straightened her hair to help people tell them apart and did her best to make it obvious who she was.
She loved Ember and tried to stop the bullying for a long time but had no luck. She could see Gray looking at Ember and wanted to know if Ember knew him. Kayla had seen him defend her at lunch today. She started to go to Ember but before she could go ask Ember the teacher had called everyone's attention. he was the same teacher who found Ember and Gray behind the building he made everyone lineup.
