June asked, "who is this girl? Why would you blindly believe her?" Alissa stood up and said, "she is none of your concern." Anna and Koda's pack came in then and got between June and Kojak's pack. Kojak's pack moved as Koda's pack came closer to Ember. June smiled thinking Anna would talk some sense into her pack but instead Anna looked at Alissa and the rest of the pack and said, "thank you for protecting her until we got to her. well-done Koda will be grateful to."
Alissa nodded and Anna stayed between June and Ember Anna looked at Nala and said, "check on Ember" as Nala moved to Ember, she shifted in front of everyone and called out to Ember. Ember was relieved to see them as she looked at Lilly. As Lilly got closer, she could see Ember's cheek was red. Lilly stopped in front of Ember and clenched her hands into fists as she calmly asked, "who hit you?"
The question was short, but it made the entire pack turn their attention to Ember ready for the answer. Ember wasn't paying attention as she said, "that girl she didn't want me to touch Gray's coat." The next thing anyone knew Lilly was in front of June and smacked her so hard it knocked her back a couple steps. Everyone was surprised as they watched except for Koda's and Kojak's packs. They all knew Lilly didn't like to fight and that everyone in Koda's pack were strong enough to be alpha's if they wanted to be.
