hadn't even realized she had screamed when she woke up until she saw Alice next to her. The look on Alice's face was pure concern.

Alice's pack came in shortly after that ready for a battle. Richey came in and asked, Alice if Ember was okay. Alice told him she wasn't sure but she would talk to Ember. While they talked Ember just looked forward. Richey then said, "Koda told me she had nightmares but he neglected to mention she would wake up screaming." Ember didn't say anything as everyone but Alice left. Ember pulled herself into a ball and looked at the wall as Alice came over and sat on the bed next to her.

she asked, "was it the same as the last nightmare?" Ember shook her head as a tear rolled down her cheek, she wiped it away and Alice asked, "it was worse, wasn't it?" Ember didn't answer Alice this time she just looked at the wall. Alice took that as a yes and said, "I'm sorry, do you want to talk about it?" Ember shook her head a little.

Alice then said, "it might make you feel better." Ember just kept looking at the wall. She didn't think she could handle talking about it right now, she just wanted Gray; she didn't feel safe here, not when she was so far from him. Alice then said, "okay well if you change your mind let me know." Alice moved back to her bed and tried to wait for Ember to go back to sleep, but there was no way Ember was going back to sleep after that nightmare.

Ember sat there and looked at the wall, Alice eventually said, "my dad went and got your stuff for you if you feel like changing the bathroom is over there and I can start a bath for you if you would like to take one to calm down." Ember nodded Alice grabbed Ember's bag
