When Kayla stopped Ember said, "basically yes, I got my memories back after Demetrius kidnapped me the first time. Are you okay?" Kayla smiled and said, "I'm great this is great now I know why he always seemed to want to protect you and be near you. I knew you guys were hiding something from me but now I know why and why his aura looks different." Kayla then looked worried as the realization that Angela could see what Gray was caught up to her and she said, "oh my they can't stay here three hunters saw you kiss there not going to be happy about this. what if they come after them?"
Ember looked at Gray knowing Kayla was right. Ember turned to him and he said, "if they come after us, we will have to leave but I don't want to leave you." he put his forehead to Ember's. she smiled and said, "then I'll come too." Gray was worried he didn't want to be the reason Ember couldn't see Kayla and said, "you should try and fix things with your parents first."
Ember frowned and said, "I like the first plan better." he laughed a little and said, "if we have to leave, we won't leave you behind this time I promise." Ember smiled and said, "okay." Kayla had a huge smile on her face as she said, "that's so cute." Ember turned to Kayla and leaned against Gray as she said, "remember no one can know or Gray and the others will have to leave."
Kayla smiled and said, "I promise but how are you going to smooth things out with them." Kayla pointed to the door where Evelyn, Owen, Jack, and Angela were still banging on the door. Ember opened
